Save Room for Snacks
The amount of amazing snack at Disney World is unreal plus they are always coming out with new ones! You have the classics like Dole Whip, Churros, and Mickey Premium Bars. For an idea of what snacks you should start saving room for, read Disney World Treats you Should Enjoy Every Trip
Rope Drop the Parks
The early bird gets the worm! This is an important thing to remember on your Disney World vacation. People don’t like waking up early on their vacations so the parks are always at their quietest first thing in the morning. This is how people squeeze so many attractions into their day, by getting to the park right when it opens. The wait times will not be shorter than they are during the first hour. You need to calculate your travel time, the time it takes to get through security and the lines to get into the park itself!
Celebrate your Day
If you are celebrating anything on your trip don’t be afraid to share it! It doesn’t just have to be a birthday or vacation either. It can seriously be anything you want from a new job to adoptions, to just because.
Document your Vacation
Make sure you capture some pictures of your vacation so you can look back and remember it! You can opt to buy Memory Maker, a Disney World photo package that gets you Photopass and on-ride photos. Plus when you get home, make sure you do something with those pictures so you can look back and enjoy them. Read our suggestions over at 5 Creative Ways to Remember your Disney Vacation.
Eat with Character
Character dining has turned into a staple of Disney World vacations, especially if you have kids. These meals let you bypass the long character lines and get you to see a few characters over the course of your meal. Plus let’s talk about the fact that you won’t have to use up a Fastpass on a character meet and greet in the park. Each dining location features different characters so be sure to find out who hangs out at which restaurant when making your decision. Take a Spin on the Monorail
I could ride this thing all day! It’s your highway in the skyway! If you are driving to the Magic Kingdom this is an option to get from the parking lot to the front of the park. Also, you can take the monorail back and forth between the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. You can catch a ride on the Walt Disney World Monorail System from 30 minutes prior to earliest park opening until one hour after the latest park closing.
Watch the Fireworks
I can’t think of a better way to end your day than with some of Disney’s over the top firework displays. You can catch Illuminations Reflections of Earth over at Epcot and Magic Kingdom has the firework show Happily Ever After. For some Disney World firework tips, read Best Epcot Firework Viewing Locations and also Best Magic Kingdom Firework Viewing Locations.
