Woody's Lunch Box is a quick service dining location in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. This park was in desperate need of some better food selections. So Woody's Lunchbox is a welcome addition to Hollywood Studios. The restaurant serves up some mom made comfort food in the form of sandwiches. I don't know how many others can relate to the kid's meal of a good sandwich and some tater tots! You can eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Let's take a look at our full Woody's Lunch Box dining review.

A Tour Around Woody's Lunch Box
A look at Woody's Lunch Box at Hollywood Studios.
Woody's Lunchbox is an outdoor quick service location. To save yourself the long wait in the hot sun take advantage of ordering your food through Disney's mobile app and skip waiting in line! Why in the world are we giving you line tips on a food location? Well with so much under construction and this being a brand new area at Hollywood Studios the lines can get long.
During busy times especially shortly after it first opened the line sometimes grew beyond an hour-long! If you encounter the dreaded unavailable message but see the restaurant is clearly opened its bad news. Unfortunately, this means that they are at capacity and can't keep up with orders.
This is pretty much the entire eating area, yup I know it's really not all that big. We did have a bit of trouble finding a seat but surprisingly after only a short wait, we were able to get one! While the tables do have umbrellas in the hot Florida sun not everything is actually in the shade. I recommend waiting to eat here until at night when it's a little cooler and you don't have to worry about melting to death.
Be sure to take a look around the whole seating area you will find some neat details the Imagineers left for you to discover. Babybel the sponsor has these adorable cheese chairs that are pictured above. There is also a note for mom written on one of the tables as well.
Dishes from Woody's Lunch Box
Here is a look at the dishes we tried from our dinner, which you can also order during lunch, at Woody's Lunch Box.
I went for the BBQ Brisket Melt which I wasn't the craziest about. The BBQ sauce just didn't appeal to me but I can be fussy with that sort of stuff. My husband liked it just fine but he wasn't in love. I blame the local 4 Rivers BBQ for spoiling me with some of the best brisket bbq around!
My husband ordered the Monte Cristo which I liked a whole lot better. The toast was like a french toast and was a good sweet and salty combo. Even though this dish got plenty of fans and rave reviews Disney World has since pulled it from the menu. I hope we see its returns sometime soon!
This Lunch Box Tart is a Chocolate-Hazelnut stuffed Pastry coated in Maple Fondant and Candied Bacon. I thought it was a glorified homemade Pop Tart. Which don't get me wrong I like but I wish this was toasty warm just like the ones I make at home.
Breakfast at Woody's Lunch Box
You can catch breakfast here from park open to 10:30 am. I must say after sampling all of it, it's a great place to stop in and have some breakfast. Also, I will let you in on a secret. We ordered everything from the kid's menu instead of the adult so we could try it all out and not waste food! Plus you get a drink included with that!
I don't even like tater tots normally but I really enjoyed this breakfast bowl. It is a hearty portion of Potato Barrels smothered in Smoked Brisket Country Gravy, Scrambled Eggs and a sprinkling of Green Onions. I just wished it had some more eggs and a little less potato barrels.
This was my husband's favorite pick of breakfast. The sandwich is piled with Thick-sliced Smoked Turkey Breast, Melted Swiss Cheese, and Scrambled Eggs on Grilled Sourdough.
If you are a fan of having dessert for breakfast like myself then this is your pick! The S'more French Toast Sandwich is Marshmallow and Chocolate Ganache stuffed in Grilled Custard soaked Brioche encrusted with Graham Cracker Crumbs. It's the best french toast I have ever had and I thought was definitely worth all the hype it has been getting.
The Woody's Lunch Box Review Recommendation
It may have been the extreme heat we ventured out in this day but I just wasn't a raving fan of Woody's Lunchbox. I am eager to go back again and give it another shot. Nothing deserves to be judged when you have to sit outside and eat in the 100-degree heat. Which brings me to why in the heck is this place even 100% outdoors? It's like Disney missed the memo that this location was going to be in Florida.
But we must admit the options for quick service food are pretty dreadful at Hollywood Studios. Woody's Lunchbox is by far the best food wise out of them all.

I have been visiting the parks annually since my parents first brought me at just a year old. Recently I was able to fulfill my life long dream of being a Florida local and moved from the wintery Northeast to the sunshine and fun of central Florida. Now I am hoping to share my Disney knowledge with you so you can have the best vacation possible!
