Be Our Guest
One of the newest restaurants at the Magic Kingdom and the most popular. Reservations for dinner (full service) are hard to come by. Be Our Guest tops our list for the atmosphere. It is set inside the Beast’s Castle and you enter through the ballroom. If you have young ones who are easily scared avoid being seated in the West Wing. The room is dark and features periodic thunder and lighting.

Cinderella’s Royal Table
Take your princess to dine in a castle, but not just any castle, you are eating inside Cinderella’s Castle at the Magic Kingdom. This is a character dining experience where you can eat with the characters of Cinderella. If this makes your list of places to eat be sure to book at your 180 day out mark.
Sci- Fi Dine In
At Sci-Fi Dine In Theater you will be seated at tables shaped like vintage cars, shown in the picture above. Your entertainment for the meal is a series of movie trailers from B-grade science fiction films shown on a large drive-in type screen. While we think this is a great stop for kids, this restaurant tends to be dark (and shows some old “scary monster” type clips) so if your children have trouble with this it might not be the place for you.
T-Rex Cafe
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe
This large fast-food spot is located in the Magic Kingdom in Frontierland. It offers burgers, tacos, and other standard fast-food options. It offers a great big area that’s perfect for kids. Plus most of the meals are top it yourself, perfect if you have picky eaters.
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Located inside the Norway pavilion at Epcot this spot is the mecca of Princess dining. Breakfast is American fare and lunch and dinner offer Norwegian Cuisine for adults and American style for kids. All meals are served family style at the table.
50’s Prime Time Cafe
Here you can expect the waiters and waitresses to pick on you if your manners aren’t up to snuff. People get yelled at for not finishing their dinner before having dessert. Kids enjoy it here because they get to see their parents yelled at for not having proper manners.
Satu’li Canteen
This is a brand new addition to the Animal Kingdom. The food isn’t standard theme park food, it’s actually more like build your own bowl Chipotle style. If that isn’t to your kids liking there is always the hamburger pods and wrapped hot dog.

Teppan Edo
What better entertainment than your meal being cooked in front of you? Kids are often mesmerized by the entertainment that the chefs offer. While you may think the food is adventurous here it definitely is not. It’s rice, noodles, and veggies paired with your pick of meat.

Ohana
‘Ohana means family and that is the focus of this large restaurant. These meals are served family style, there is no buffet. If you are looking for a character experience it is only at breakfast, not dinner. We loved that throughout the meal, there are various kids activities that they will perform like a conga line!
