When you are trying to squeeze in as many rides at Disney World as possible who wants to stop for a long meal? Disney World has over 150 counter service spots and that number seems to grow every year. These counter service dining locations are often referred to as quick service dining. This term was born out of the Disney Dining plan and how it divides up its credits. Quick service basically equates out to fast food. There are no waiters at these locations and you walk up to a counter to order your food. Whether you are trying to fit in as many rides as possible or have quick service dining credits to use we have some recommendations for you. Here are the spots that I think are the best places at Disney World to eat a quick meal.
Tangerine Cafe
This hidden gem is located in Morocco at Epcot. The food here is so delicious and it’s not your standard fast food fare! While this may seem like they serve really adventurous food there really is something for most people on the menu here.
Casey’s Corner
OMG! I just discovered corn dog nuggets in the last year and they are something addictive. Plus the shoestring french fries here are on point. Don’t forget to add the cheese sauce on the side! You probably don’t notice this spot as you race by it on the corner of Main Street at the Magic Kingdom.
Be Our Guest (Lunch)
This location is a bit unique. For lunch it’s considered a Quick Service Restaurant then at dinner it transforms into a Table Service Restaurant. The location here is the winner, you actually get to step inside Beasts castle at the Magic Kingdom. The food is well prepared here too, I recommend the braised pork, but you probably won’t have room for dessert after the serving you receive! If by some Disney magic you do have room for dessert, try the Master’s cupcake – it is chocolate sponge cake topped with Lumiere’s Grey Stuff.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
The rotisserie chicken here is my go to and the serving will be plenty if you choose this stop for dinner! This stop is located in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom. It has three different bays which serve different food so make sure you look before you get into line!
Flame Tree BBQ
The barbecue is amazing here, so this is a great stop if that is your jam. If not the rotisserie chicken and chicken salad here are also fantastic. You will find Flame Tree BBQ on Discovery Island at Animal Kingdom, on the left before you enter Dinoland.
Sunshine Seasons
This restaurant, located in the Land at EPCOT, is set up with stations of different types of food. I love how fresh the food is here. Some of it is even sourced from the greenhouses inside the land. Also, not everyone in your party has to eat the same thing as the selections are wide ranging.
Satuli Canteen
We just love everything about Pandora including their food! Just look at the photo above it’s a hamburger pod and I think it tastes just like a McDonald’s hamburger. They have delicious rice bowls here too that you can customize to your liking. Everything trends on the healthy side here and it’s a refreshing change from the nuggets and burgers you see elsewhere.
So that concludes my top picks for the Best Quick Service Restaurants at Walt Disney World. What do you think? What are your favorites?
I have been visiting the parks annually since my parents first brought me at just a year old. Recently I was able to fulfill my life long dream of being a Florida local and moved from the wintery Northeast to the sunshine and fun of central Florida. Now I am hoping to share my Disney knowledge with you so you can have the best vacation possible!
