The Flame Tree BBQ is a quick service restaurant located near the Tree of Life at the Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World. This is THE BEST quick service location option at the Animal Kingdom, though the newly opened Satuli Canteen gives it a run for its money.
So why does Flame Tree come out ahead beside the amazing BBQ meats? Unlike most counter service restaurants in Walt Disney World theme parks, it DOES accept the Tables in Wonderland card for a 20% discount. Also, this spot can be one of the best value quick service restaurants for value on the Disney Dining Plan if you order the ribs or one of the combos.

A Tour Around Flame Tree BBQ
Flame Tree BBQ Dishes
The following is a few of the dishes we have tried from their menu.

French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese
It was an interesting mix of BBQ and fake cheese sauce, it was pretty good. I hoped for better but it was alright. The amount of meat you get on this makes it an awesome value.

½ Chicken
Nice healthy option and hard to go wrong with rotisserie chicken! It wasn't overly cooked, I just wished it came with some mashed potatoes, maybe we will see another menu change in the future!

Roasted Turkey Sandwich
Pretty standard turkey sandwich not too much special here. Thinking that's why last I looked this item got pulled off the menu.

Mixed Greens Salad with Roasted Chicken Breast
My mom raves about this salad which includes pecans, apples and white balsamic dressing, even swearing it's the best on property!
Flame Tree BBQ Recommendation
We loved dining here listening to the sounds of people screaming on Expedition Everest while overlooking the lagoon. Since it is all outdoor seating you may want to think twice during the summer if all you need is a nice AC break.

I have been visiting the parks annually since my parents first brought me at just a year old. Recently I was able to fulfill my life long dream of being a Florida local and moved from the wintery Northeast to the sunshine and fun of central Florida. Now I am hoping to share my Disney knowledge with you so you can have the best vacation possible!
