STK is located directly across from the Edison at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World. Orlando’s version is one of fourteen STK restaurants located around the world. We headed here for a birthday celebration and wanted to share our STK Orlando dinner review.
Throughout your dinner at STK, you will notice music being played in the background. The music at STK is constant with speakers located behind each table. As the night continues on you will notice that the music gets louder and louder. Around 9 pm STK transforms into more of a club vibe. Our reservation was at 6:30 and the music level was manageable and we were able to enjoy a conversation without being drowned by music.

A Tour Around STK
The entrance to STK has a sleek modern design. This is where you check in for your meal. We booked through Open Table but you can also book a reservation with Disney.
From our table on the first floor, this is a look back into the restaurant. You will notice on the left they already had the DJ playing when we arrived around 6:30 pm.
Despite some on and off showers on the day we stopped in for dinner the windows to the patio were wide open. This gave us a fantastic view straight out into Disney Springs and the Edison.
The menu here of course primarily focuses on none other than steak as well as some seafood options. I think the menu is very reminiscent of Yachtsmen Steakhouse but the atmosphere here is a very different game. We found that pricing here was slightly higher than other signature dining locations but checked and found the pricing was on par with other STK locations.
Dishes from STK
Here is a look at the dishes we tried from STK in Disney Springs.
Every meal at STK gets a starter of this delicious bread. They are soft rolls topped with melted blue cheese butter is served with a small dish of pesto for dipping. I was a little nervous about the blue cheese since typically I am not a fan but it was very mild and nothing I expected. It was fantastic whether or not you use the pesto olive oil dipping sauce.
I opted to go with the chicken, it was very good the last time we ate here, but it had changed since. Now it’s a Pan-roasted Free-range Chicken. It was very good but I wished it had a little more flavor.
The filet was cooked perfectly! My husband couldn’t decide on a sauce so he got both the STK sauce and the Chimichurri sauce.
Oh, my mac and cheese! Notice how it has the same shell shape as the famed Panera Mac and Cheese. The side was great it was pretty mild cheddar with just a hint of kick.
STK Frites with a side of waffle fries. This a 6oz bone-in filet topped with two jumbo shrimp and au poivre sauce.
STK Orlando Dinner Review Recommendation
This restaurant, STK Orlando, is a great spot to have an upscale dining experience. STK is a far cry from your typical steakhouse. It blends expensive food with a club vibe. You definitely get the vibe that it is the place to be seen and drop lots of money. While there were many tables around us that had kids it’s not a place I would recommend bringing them. While they did eventually add a kids menu after opening they food is still very pricey.
I have been visiting the parks annually since my parents first brought me at just a year old. Recently I was able to fulfill my life long dream of being a Florida local and moved from the wintery Northeast to the sunshine and fun of central Florida. Now I am hoping to share my Disney knowledge with you so you can have the best vacation possible!
