A few years ago we got to discover the planet of Pandora over at the Animal Kingdom and now we have the new planet of Batuu to explore at Hollywood Studios. Here is a look at the all new map of Batuu, the planet featured in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge.
Batuu Map

The area includes two main attractions, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run (now open) and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opening in December of this year!
If you are looking for food I recommend heading over to Ronto Roasters or Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. There is a bigger selection of food to choose from and some air conditioning at Docking Bay 7 but we preferred the wrap at Ronto’s more.
For some drinks, you can try Blue Milk or Green Milk at the Milk Stand. If you want to escape from the sun then Oga’s Cantina is your spot, though be prepared to wait in line for Oga’s.
The market is the best spot to shop at Batuu. I may be biased as I love stopping by the creature stall and seeing all the animals. For those wanting to build their own lightsaber, you should go to Savi’s Workshop. Note that you can book a reservation for Savi’s online ahead of your trip. The same goes for the Droid Depot. The Depot is where you can assemble your own droid. They have both BB series and R series units for you to assemble. Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is the spot to head for lots of movie memorabilia and just a ton of trinkets in general. You will love the atmosphere is this shop!
Aurebesh Decoder

There is writing in Aurebesh all over the planet of Batuu. For those of you who are not in the Star Wars know, Aurebesh is a writing system used to transcribe Galactic Basic, the most used languages in the Star Wars galaxy. This handy guide that comes on the back of your map helps in uncovering exactly what is written all over the land.
I have been visiting the parks annually since my parents first brought me at just a year old. Recently I was able to fulfill my life long dream of being a Florida local and moved from the wintery Northeast to the sunshine and fun of central Florida. Now I am hoping to share my Disney knowledge with you so you can have the best vacation possible!
