The Rose and Crown is located along the waterfront at EPCOT in Walt Disney World. This restaurant specializes in dishes from the United Kingdom, no surprise since that is the country you will find it in. You can dine outside on the deck and enjoy Illuminations if you time it all just right.

A Look Around the Rose and Crown
On the outside, it looks much like the pubs we came across when visiting London.
The inside carries the theme right in. Notice the beautiful, detailed ceilings, you just don't find these everywhere. I also loved looking at the variety of plates that lined the top of the room we were seated in.
Heavy wood paneling and classic wood chairs are all very reminiscent of a British pub. If you are looking to escape the heavy wood interior you can always try dining outside.
The patio seating is where you can catch the fireworks if you time it just right. Try booking your reservation by 7 pm and take your meal nice and slow. In order to do this when you check in at the podium just ask to get seated outside. There is no guarantee you will get patio seating as it does fill up and is limited.
If you want to get guaranteed fireworks viewing they are selling an Illuminations dining package. At 8:00 pm, you’ll be seated outside on the patio at Rose & Crown Dining Room overlooking the shimmering waters of World Showcase Lagoon. Your dining package costs $85 per adult which included an appetizer, full entree, and dessert during the fireworks show. This price includes tax and tip.

Attached to the Rose & Crown is a PUB, and this is a whole treat not to be missed. No reservations are required to drop in. You will most likely be greeted with a packed crowd in this small bar but it is worth the wait. In true United Kingdom fashion (thank you Ireland) they serve up the best glass of Guinness.
Dishes at the Rose & Crown
It was a scorching hot Florida day but I felt like I had to get something different for you all and apparently this is another popular item at Rose and Crown. This is the Guinness braised short ribs. It was full of flavor and melt in your mouth tasty.
As with any British dining establishment fish and chips is a staple menu item. The batter was perfect and the fish was not too dried out on the inside. It was good but my heart still belongs to Raglan Road and their fish and chips. Also, note that the fish and chips are the same price as the counter next door but these come with a chair and air conditioning.
Rose & Crown Recommendation
The atmosphere here is unbelievable! We recommend getting a seat as close to the water as you can. Even though we were inside we still got to take in great views of the Seven Seas Lagoon. Be prepared for British fare when you come here. My husband and I thoroughly enjoy a good basket of fish and chips but if that or Banger and Mash ain't your jam this may be one country to skip in the World Showcase.
Our only negative after eating here was we felt rushed. We were seated and instantly asked if we were ready to order. The food came out freakishly fast after ordering though it was still very good. I think we were leaving the restaurant no more than 45 minutes later. It wasn't even busy that night, the restaurant sat mostly empty as we were eating just before 5 pm.

Now I am hoping to share my Disney knowledge with you so you can have the best vacation possible!
