The Grand Floridian hotel is home to Narcoossee’s at Walt Disney World. This restaurant is classified in the Disney Signature dining category so it’s considered one of the best and most expensive options. The restaurant is located in a prime spot right on the water of the seven seas lagoon across from the Magic Kingdom. This spot also classifies it as a restaurant you can watch Disney fireworks at as well. So let’s dive right into our Narcoossee’s dining review.

A Tour Around Narcoossee’s
Narccossee’s is located right on the waterfront of the Grand Floridian hotel. You can see the cloudy weather in this picture we learned the hard way to be careful when planning your reservation here. We just missed a rain storm which was lucky on our part. To get here you have to walk outside for quite a distance from the main lobby of the Grand Floridian. If you are at the Magic Kingdom, you can take a boat to the dock on the back side of the restaurant.
When you first check-in for your dining reservation, make sure to take a peek to your left. This will give you a look into the kitchen. Even though we were there early in the evening there was already lots of hustle and bustle happening.
There is tons of wood and navy covering the inside this restaurant it definitely gave off a nautical vibe. It actually reminded me a lot of the colonial look that was common back in my home in New England.
While the menu largely features seafood, land lovers will really enjoy their steak options as well. They also had a chicken dish on the menu as well.
Food at Narcoossee’s
Here is a look at the dishes we have tried dining at Narcoossee’s.
This has to have been some of the best of calamari I have ever had. There was no rubbery chewiness here it was so fresh. If you are a calamari fan I highly recommend getting this dish. My only complaint was that we really didn’t have enough marinara sauce. It was probably our bad for not asking our waitress for more. Disney is always super accommodating at restaurants.
I went with a combination of land and sea for my dinner. This is the Lobster and Sirloin steak combo. When you order this dish you do have the ability to upgrade your steak to a filet. I am glad I didn’t upgrade because the sirloin was so good it basically tasted like a filet. The steak sauce was a perfect pair.
No surprise, my husband went all in with the filet. The steak sauce was the same I got on the sirloin and was very good. He loved it and put it right on par with our favorite filet at the California Grill.
Narcoossee’s Recommendation
If you are looking for a quiet romantic spot to have a meal this is a great option at Walt Disney World. If you are a seafood lover than Narcoossee’s is a must. Looking to impress someone special? Then I recommend coordinating your reservation with the Magic Kingdom’s fireworks time. They do dim the light for this and play the music for the firework show at the Magic Kingdom. If you are heading here from a day at the Magic Kingdom don’t forget you can take a boat or monorail ride to get here.
