Military Discount Dates for Mickey’s Not Scary Halloween Party & Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Military Discount Dates for Mickey’s Not Scary Halloween Party & Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Summer seems to have flown by here at Walt Disney World! With summer quickly coming to an end, party season at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is ready to ramp up!  Military discount dates and prices have been released for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties.  If you are active duty military, retired (like my family), reserve, national guard or Department of Defense take note on how to save big this holiday season!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

With Halloween right around the corner at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, here are the dates for military discounted tickets: August 17, 24, 28, and 31 / September 3, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, and 18.  Military ticket prices are ages 10 & up $55 and ages 3-9 $50. That is SIGNIFICANT savings friends!

Just for comparison Disney Vacation Club and Annual Passholder discounted ticket prices for those date ranges are ages 10 & up $74 and ages 3-9 $69.  Keep in mind, it is a maximum of six tickets per family (unless dual military or DOD). To purchase tickets head over to your local Military installation’s ITT office or the Shades of Green resort here at Walt Disney World. For more information about Shades of Green check out https://www.shadesofgreen.org/experiences/tours.

Our first Not So Scary Halloween Party was last year, and it was a total blast!  Meeting Cruella de Vill was my favorite part of the WHOLE evening.  Of course, my son LOVED the unlimited trick-o-treating.  Pro mom tip is to make sure to bring a few huge plastic bags to hold your mega candy haul and stop for candy later in the night. Also, do not be surprised if the Jack and Sally meet and greet is a 3 hour plus wait.  With that being said, you can see why I opted to see him as Sandy Claws at Christmas. We are so excited to go once again this year!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Sing with me now, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year” haha!  Yes, it is early August and most days temperatures are 90 plus degrees, but just thinking about the Very Merry Christmas Party makes me want to listen to Bing Crosby and drink hot chocolate!  Here are the military discount ticket dates: November 9, 12, 13, and 15th. Tickets are priced at ages 10 & up $70 and ages 3-9 $65 which is HUGE savings when compared to full price and Annual Passholders or Disney Vacation Club members.

Because the Christmas party dates are limited, I recommend purchasing the tickets early. The same goes for MVMCP that it is a max of six tickets per family unless dual military or DOD.  To buy tickets head over to your local Military installation’s ITT office or the Shades of Green resort here at Walt Disney World. For more information about Shades of Green check out https://www.shadesofgreen.org/experiences/tours.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year.  Having attended our first MVMCP last year, WOW is all I can say.  You think you know the holiday, and BAM Disney just takes it to a whole other level.  Not going to lie, when I met Sandy Claws I totally “fangirled out.”  I planted myself in line before the party started and let the boys go off and ride. Once the party started, it made our wait much shorter and worth it!  My husband and son both enjoyed the unlimited hot cocoa, while I stuffed my purse full of Christmas cookies.

Don’t Wait

Both parties in my opinion are can NOT miss. They are an excellent way to extend your Military Park Hopper Pass because that party ticket offers you another day (they will let party goers in a few hours before the actual party starts) in the Magic Kingdom.  Rare characters are out, fun party only goodies, special parades, incredible fireworks displays, and the memories you make are priceless.  We will be attending both parties again this year. Hopefully, I will see you there!
