La Cantina de San Angel Dining Review

La Cantina de San Angel Dining Review

Located on the waterside of the Mexico Pavillion in Epcot, Walt Disney World, La Cantina is a picturesque place to dine. This is a Mexican food quick service location that has our favorite nachos! We will say during busy times you will have to fight to get a table here but it’s well worth it. So here is a look at our La Cantina Dining Review.

La Cantina de San Angel Dining Review 2

Dishes from La Cantina de San Angel

Beef Nachos Epcot La Cantina

This is one of our Epcot go-to dishes. The nachos are very good here! I love the queso and it does have a slight kick to it but not too crazy for someone like me who can’t handle spicy food.

La Cantina de San Angel Dining Review 3

We were very happy with how much guacamole they gave us. This is a big cup, I hate it when you order it, pay the up charge and get a small dollop of guac.

Chicken tacos La Cantina Epcot

It’s a little hard to tell from the picture but these are street style tacos, aka mini tacos. I wish they had a flour tortilla option but the corn was still nice and fresh. Each taco was packed with meat, it was hard to keep in inside the shell. This one was definitely a messy meal. I am glad we got the guacamole because it was a little dry and made for a great topping!

La Cantina de San Angel Recommendation

While we love eating here so does everyone else. No matter the time of year La Cantina is usually busy. Be prepared that this spot will be slightly loud and you may need to fight for a spot. There’s not a lot of seating compared to other counter-service restaurants! The last time we had to walk around the corner and eat at the tables they put out for the festival food booths. If you are looking for a more relaxing meal I recommend trying to eat here outside of traditional meal times to avoid the crowds.

If you would like to eat at a sit down spot I highly recommend stopping in next door. We had a fantastic meal at La Hacienda de San Angel. In the comments below feel free to share your La Cantina dining review.
