Everyone loves getting the inside scoop on stuff right? Disney dining can be overwhelming, let’s face it you have the Disney Dining Plan, Mobile Order, and reservations that need to be made six months in advance. It really can be a lot for first-time planners and repeat visitors alike. So I want to let you in on some of my little known Disney dining secrets no one shares.
Mobile Ordering
Instead of waiting in line, you can save time by ordering from wherever you are, imagine the convenience of reviewing the menu and making your selections while you’re waiting for an attraction. This is exactly what the My Disney Experience App lets you do!

Secret Seating – Dining that has an Upstairs
Did you know that some quick-service spots at Disney World actually have two stories to them? Yeah, not a lot of people do! There is Pinocchios Village Haus and Columbia Harbour House at the Magic Kingdom.
Skips Sides and Save Cash!
This is a quick service money-saving pro tip. If you order entree items but hold the sides they will come out costing less. This is a great strategy if you aren’t as hungry or you do not like the side items that come with your item.
Landry’s Select Club
In case you didn’t know the Landry’s restaurant group runs three different spots on Disney World property. These include the Rainforest Cafe, TREX Cafe, and the Yak and Yeti. They have a rewards program that works at all these dining locations. The Landry’s Select Club cost $25 to join but you get a $25 WELCOME REWARD* plus you get a free $25 BIRTHDAY REWARD** to use during your Birthday Month!
Once you have joined the club you present your membership card to your server and earn 1 point for every $1 spent on eligible food, beverage, retail, and gift card purchases at any participating location. When 250 points are earned, they are converted into a $25 REWARD.
Plus on those busy nights comes in my favorite feature. You get to your table faster with PRIORITY SEATING! Select Club Members are eligible for Priority Seating. This comes in handy when it’s busy and you forgot to book a reservation to eat somewhere.
Secret Menu Items
I had no idea until recently that Disney World actually had several dining locations that offered secret menu items. So naturally upon discovering that I went on a quest to uncover all of them so I could share with you what they are. I find the best way to stay on top of things is first to follow the Disney Food Blog and second to watch the hashtag #disneysecretmenu on Instagram!
