Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are busy early-morning parks where sleeping in is just unheard of, so a quick breakfast is always easy to find. But what about EPCOT? EPCOT is the easy going park that you can sleep in and have a great day. The booths at the World Showcase don’t even open until 11:00!
But what if you’re a morning person? You are in Walt Disney World and excited to get going, but what are you going to eat? WDW Vacation Tips has your guide to all things early morning and breakfast in EPCOT!
Coffee Shops
Sometimes you don’t want a full meal, you just want some coffee and maybe a light snack. Especially since EPCOT is like the land of small plates and snacks, you might not want to fill up early!
Connections Cafe
Opens at 8:30 am
Connections Cafe is EPCOT’s Starbucks location, so while it looks futuristic and different, you can order everything here that you can at any Starbucks in the country. In addition to the coffee, you will find all of the same sandwiches and pastries as your typical Starbucks as well.
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company at EPCOT
Opens at 7:00 am
This Joffrey’s location is right outside the entrance, so it is open and ready for those early rising guests to get their morning brew. Note that this location will have the shortest lines of all of the Joffrey’s locations in EPCOT.
Be sure to try the big donuts! They are locally made in a popular Orlando shop, and they are delicious!
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company in Canada at EPCOT
Opens at 8:30 am
All of the Joffrey’s in the park have the same menu that also includes alcoholic coffees. Yum! During EPCOT festivals each location in World Showcase will feature a different beverage.
You can find the Canadian location near Le Cellier in a small red covered cart.
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company in Showcase Plaza at EPCOT
Opens at 8:30
This location is just outside of the World Showcase circle before you enter the different countries.
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company in The American Adventure at EPCOT
Opens at 8:30 am
Right in front of the American Gardens Theatre at EPCOT is the Joffrey’s. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the art exhibit in the American Adventure!
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company in World Discovery at EPCOT
Opens at 8:30
Just a stone’s throw from Connections Eatery is this location of Joffrey’s in front of the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. We love some healthy competition!
Quick Service Breakfast at Epcot
EPCOT is all about sharing food and culture all over the world! Unfortunately only a ⅓ of the world is open for breakfast in EPCOT, but you could really start your day with some very sweet options.
Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris
Opens at 10:00 am
Crepes are a great breakfast that manages to feel both light and decadent. This Quick Service offers both sweet and savory crepes to make everyone happy, full, and satisfied.
Karamell-Küche
Opens at 8:30 am
Apparently, there are people who wake up and think that caramel apples and caramel cluster squares are breakfast because this German Quick Service has one of the earliest opening times! Wake up and smell the Werther’s caramels.
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe
Opens at 8:30 am
Think of this Norway bake shop as a fancy foreign donut shop! It’s full of pastries and tasty sweets that we won’t judge if we see you enjoying them for breakfast. Here’s your chance to try the famous School Bread, a pastry that is like a yeast roll filled with custard and topped with coconut.
The Land Cart
Opens at 9:00 am
On a vacation filled with fried foods, pastries, and other delicious things, your body is just craving a vegetable! This cart has mini fruit and cheese plates, vegetables with hummus, and classic Mickey pretzels. You know, the basic food groups.
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
Opens at 8:30 am
Ah, France. The home of cheese, fruit, baguettes, and pastries! Really, you can buy an entire baguette to stroll around EPCOT with. Have you ever heard of a better breakfast? This is easily THE BEST breakfast spot in all of EPCOT.
*Note: While this may be the best, you should know that a lot of people agree with this sentiment, and Les Halles easily has the longest line at breakfast time.
Table Service
Prior to the 2020 closure there were multiple table restaurants open for breakfast. We are noticing that as all of the restaurants are reopening, breakfast is still not on the menu! Check back to WDW Vacation Tips to see if and when we can enjoy breakfast at places like Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Garden Grill Restaurant.
La Crêperie de Paris
Opens at 9:15 am
You may not get to experience a slow luxurious breakfast in Paris, France, but you absolutely can in Paris EPCOT! You can even opt for a 3-course Parisian breakfast including both sweet and savory crepes.
Boardwalk
Disney’s Boardwalk is not technically in EPCOT, but it is immediately outside the International Gateway in EPCOT. What’s more, you don’t need a park ticket to go to Disney’s Boardwalk. You can enjoy casual dining, over-the-top sundaes, exciting nightlife, and yes, breakfast.
Trattoria al Forno
Opens at 7:30 am
Trattoria al Forno is an Italian-style restaurant that offers breakfast in the most decadent of ways. Tiramisu-style French Toast… Oh my goodness. Who else is drooling?
Currently, this is just operating as a fast-casual Table Service. Prior to the 2020 closure, Trattoria al Forno was home to a unique character dining experience that included Ariel with her Prince Eric and Rapunzel with her Flynn Rider, AKA Eugene Fitzherbert. There has been no word on this prix fixe character dining experience returning, but we’re crossing our fingers!

I am a mother of three that has refused to grow up. Adulting is for the birds, so I go to Disney World every chance I get for that magical escape from reality. I believe that Haunted Mansion is the best ride in all of the Disney Parks, and I am fervently in team Happily Ever After for fireworks spectaculars, (sorry, not sorry, Enchanted). Finally, I hope I never grow tired of skipping down Main Street, USA, and my dream come true would be “friends with” the Fairy Godmother in my old age.
