Congrats! You have decided you and your family are heading next to the most magical place on Earth, Walt Disney World! Okay, you have the vacation fund building up but just when can you book your 2021 Disney World vacation? You will notice that right now it doesn’t let you book any package deals that far out, but don’t worry!
2021 Disney Vacation Packages
Typically, vacation packages are released in the summer (usually mid to late June) for the following year. In fact, in the last five years, the packages have been released between June 18th – 22nd. This means Walt Disney World Resort room, dining and ticket packages for 2021 should be available sometime around June 15th, 2020 or later.
Notice we keep mentioning packages? This is the Disney bundle deal. You can book your hotel to include airfare, a Disney Dining Plan and/ or Theme Park tickets with your reservation. This always opens up in June the year before.
Not sure you will remember to book your spot in June? I recommend work with an Authorized Disney Vacation planner. They are 100% FREE to use and do helpful things like reminding you the DAY the room packages come out! They can also do handy things like reserve a room only reservation for you right now. Then on the day, the packages are release it can be converted into a package deal to include tickets. Just be sure to let your planner know what you are looking to do in advance.
Don’t need the whole package? If you just want to book a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, that can be done up to 499 days in advance. Simply call (407) W-DISNEY to speak with a Cast Member to book your reservation. This is a great option if you are an Annual Passholder and don’t need to worry about bundling in tickets.
