Disney DAS Pass Registration Process

In both situations, the Cast Members will ask you to briefly explain why you are unable to wait in a traditional queue. If what you say meets Disney’s qualifications, then you will have DAS activated in your My Disney Experience App. 

Guests who qualify for DAS will maintain that qualification for 60 days.

Registering Ahead Online

A great new feature of Disney’s DAS system is the ability to preregister for DAS online. Up to 30 days prior to your visit you can go online to My Disney Experience and arrange a virtual call with a Cast Member. You will be told immediately if you qualify, and the benefit to this early registration is that you can pre-book 2 attractions for each day.

Registering at the Park With Guest Relations

If you’re not a fan of technology, and the thought of pre-arranging a virtual call all but sends you into an anxiety attack, don’t worry! (We’re with you on this one.) You can discreetly meet with a Cast Member at Guest Relations when you arrive at your first park. 

Do You Need a Doctor’s Note for DAS Pass?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! Your health is your business. Disney does not need documentation or doctor’s notes proving your condition. Disney’s Disability Access Service is 100% on your honor.

How Many People Can Be Included With A Guest’s DAS Pass?

How Long Is DAS Good For?

Disney’s Disability Access Service is valid for 60 days. Annual Passholders that require DAS will have to renew the service every 60 days. 

You are not required to renew but you will need to renew to use it again after 60 days. After it expires, you can always reapply at any time. Renewals can be done ahead of your trip online or at guest relations in the park.

What is the Return Window for a DAS Pass?

The minimum wait is the amount of time that the standby line is, so if it is 12:00 and the current wait time is 45 minutes, then your return time is 12:45. 

HOWEVER – The pass DOES NOT expire! Unlike Lightning Lanes which have a 1-hour return window that expires, DAS Pass return times do not expire. That means there is no need to rush and stress. Just know that you can only hold one DAS return time at a time.

Can You Use Das and Disney Genie+?

YES! YES! YES! Disability Access Pass does make it easier to enjoy more attractions because of the ability to wait outside the line, but if you are hoping to do every attraction in the park, then purchase Genie+ to use in addition with your DAS Pass! 

Some attractions have long wait times, like Star Wars Rise of the Resistance which typically has a wait time that exceeds 60 minutes. In cases like this, you should book a DAS Pass for it and use Genie+ to book Lightning Lanes while you wait for your DAS Pass return time. In both cases you are minimizing your wait in lines, allowing yourself to have a more magical experience.
