No one celebrates the holidays like Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. There is so much to do see and experience during this time of year at Disney World. In fact, there is so much to do that it can be hard to keep it all straight. Magic Kingdom Christmas and Holiday Specials
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
This is Disney’s separately ticketed event at the Magic Kingdom. This magical Christmas party comes complete with cookies, cocoa and snow flurries! The party begins at 7 p.m. and is only offered on select nights starting November 8th. If you would like to scoop up some tickets you can over here. A Frozen Holiday Wish (Castle Dream Lights)
Experience the wintry wonder and magic of Disney’s blockbuster “Frozen” enchants Magic Kingdom park guests as Queen Elsa transforms Cinderella Castle into a shimmering ice palace for the holidays. You don’t want to miss seeing the castle covered in icicles.
Watch the skies above Magic Kingdom light up with this special version of the classic nighttime firework show, Wishes. If you can’t afford event ticket don’t worry! Even though this a part of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party Disney will run the show with regular admission the week of Christmas.
The Jingle Cruise returns yet again this year with a holiday overlay of the world-famous Jungle Cruise at the Magic Kingdom! Be sure to bring along some good humor because it includes new holiday theme jungle jokes! For more read Jingle Cruise Takes Over the Jungle Cruise.

Holidays Around the World Marketplaces
The number of holiday kitchens can be found at Epcot’s World Showcase nations. Eleven of them to be exact. During Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. Beginning Nov. 18, this year’s festival will deliver a yuletide extravaganza.
Holidays Around the World Entertainment
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the nations of World Showcase at EPCOT, as each country’s holiday heritage comes to life amid joyful music and time-honored traditions. Check the time’s guide to find all the story tellings offered and what times you can find them.
The Candlelight Processional captures the spirit of the season in the retelling of the Christmas story by celebrity narrators, accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and choir. Performed three times each evening, 5:00, 6:45 and 8 p.m. at EPCOT’s America Gardens Theatre from Nov. 22 – Dec. 30. Narrators include Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg, and Jaci Velasquez. If you want to be sure to get a good seat, book a Candlelight dinner package.
Chip & Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree
Chip and Dale are collecting ornaments for their Christmas tree. Guests can purchase a map and stickers from select merchandise locations and travel around World Showcase at EPCOT looking for the famous chipmunks with their ornaments. Guests can return their completed maps for a festive surprise, courtesy of Chip and Dale. Maps are available for $6.99 plus tax.
Holiday llumiNations: Reflections of Earth
In the spirit of the holidays, the sky-filling spectacle IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth adds a special seasonal finale Nov. 25 – Dec.30. Holiday greetings in native languages from the countries of World Showcase at EPCOT join with the classic song “Let There be Peace on Earth” to add a heartwarming finish to IllumiNations.
Hollywood Studios Christmas and Holiday Specials
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!
Back for a second year “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!,” returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios again this year. The show features beloved Disney animated characters on a spirited yuletide adventure to get Santa back to the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve. The show combines state-of-the-art projections, fireworks, special effects and Christmas music to create a one-of-a-kind holiday experience for guests, capped by a special message from Santa himself.
Sunset Seasons Greetings
This show will return this year with impressive new laser effects and “snow.” Guests will witness spectacular projections of beloved Disney Characters – Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Olaf, and others – sharing their favorite seasonal stories as holiday magic transforms the famous Hollywood Tower Hotel into scenes of the season.
Holiday Decorations at Toy Story Land
The new Toy Story Land will feature special seasonal fun, such as holiday songs on Alien Swirling Saucers.
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
Holiday fun continues at the Hyperion Theater at Hollywood Studios as Anna, Elsa and Kristoff welcome Olaf to this popular sing-along celebration. Just for the holidays, the show will include all-new songs from Disney’s new animated short “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.”
Animal Kingdom Christmas and Holiday Specials
New this year, the magic of nature will receive a holiday touch with the inclusion of Diwali, the holiday Festival of Lights in India, as part of the new live show UP! A Great Bird Adventure. Starting Nov. 8, guests will join fun-loving pals Russell and Dug from Disney Pixar’s “Up” in discovering some of the world’s most exotic birds.
Disney Springs Christmas and Holiday Specials
Santa Claus at the Santa’s Chalet
Santa Claus will accept Christmas wish lists and welcome guests. From Dec. 25-Dec. 31, Santa Goofy will take over after Old Saint Nick heads back to the North Pole.
Disney Springs’ Christmas Tree Trail
Guests will stroll through the Christmas Tree Trail and view custom-decorated holiday trees, each dedicated to a popular Disney theme featuring characters like Mary Poppins, Mickey Mouse, and Minnie Mouse, among others. To take a look at the entire trail read Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail.
Stitch’s Holiday Gift Hunt
Guests will take part in Stitch’s Holiday Gift Hunt and discover where the mischievous Experiment 626 is hiding.
Disney Resorts Celebrate the Holidays
Gingerbread Holiday Ice Castle
Guests of Disney’s Contemporary Resort will marvel at a world of majestic mountains and fjords anchored by a 17-foot-tall Gingerbread Holiday Ice Castle. Don’t miss this photo opportunity because the castle is inspired by Frozen and adorned with sugar snowflakes, gingerbread shingles, and chocolate-coated trees.
Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Life-sized Holiday Gingerbread House
An annual treat, a life-sized holiday gingerbread house, is an eye-filling (and aroma-savoring) sight in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. There is even a store within it where you can buy cookies and gingerbread houses! So be sure to squeeze some time into your trip to check this holiday offering out!
Disney’s Beach Club Spinning Carousel
At the Beach Club resort, you will find a life-size, edible spinning carousel is a holiday tradition. While a holiday village with miniature train delights holiday guests at the Yacht Club Resort.
