The Edison is a new breed of restaurant to come to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. With the removal of Pleasure Island, this new spot was highly anticipated since it is geared towards adults. The Edison offers classic American food, craft cocktails, and live late night entertainment including cabaret, music, and palm reading in a lavish, “Industrial Gothic” setting. Let's take a look at our full Edison dining review.
It's a good idea to mention upfront that the Edison offers distinctly different service styles from the day into the night. The Edison is a family-friendly location for lunch and into the early evening. In the earlier hours entertainment is not the focus. However, when we dined in for an early dinner we spotted an entertainer on stilts walking around. Once the clock tower strikes 10:00 pm The Edison becomes an adults-only location open to guests 21-and-over.

A Tour of the Edison
A look at the Edison at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World.
The Edison is located directly across from STK and next door to Maria and Enzo's at Disney Springs. According to the backstory of this space, it was once a power plant for Disney Springs. It's hard to see in the picture above but my favorite thing about this place is the giant brick tower that marks its location.
When you enter the building don't miss this clock! It seems to be the signature Edison photo spot.
When you enter on your right will be the check-in table. This is also where you return to when they are ready to seat you.
I was shocked to see this is another two-story restaurant. When you enter you actually come in on the second story. For this meal, we were seated on the upstairs balcony looking down on the stage and tables below us.
Here is a look at the menu the day we went. As menus often change at Disney World I highly recommend using the menu link at the beginning of the article to get the most up to date information.
Dishes from The Edison
Here is a look at the dishes we tried from our dinner at the Edison!
Oh my these mashed potatoes, I loved them more than the chicken. The chicken was good, super hot and freshly fried. All of the flavor was really in the breading on the chicken. So downside was how bland the chicken could be when you got a bite without that.
This burger was massive and oh so good. It's comprised of a signature beef blend of Sirloin, Short Rib, Brisket, Sharp Cheddar, Onion Rings, Smoked Bacon, House-made Pickles, Lettuce, Tomato, and Special Sauce served with Fries. I was impressed with how much flavor was packed into this burger. My husband did point out it was really all the toppings that made the burger and not so much the burger itself so warning if you ask for it without a lot of the toppings.
The Edison Review Recommendation
We really enjoyed our time at the Edison, we were able to enjoy a nice relaxing dinner. I was expecting a loud pack bar even though we were stopping in for a dinner at 6 pm but this wasn't the case at all.

I have been visiting the parks annually since my parents first brought me at just a year old. Recently I was able to fulfill my life long dream of being a Florida local and moved from the wintery Northeast to the sunshine and fun of central Florida. Now I am hoping to share my Disney knowledge with you so you can have the best vacation possible!
