Disney World has a fantastic service called Photopass. They have photographers stationed throughout all the theme parks ready to get perfect pictures of your family. This means no more missing family members from the vacation pictures. Plus, Photopass is 100% free to use, they will even snap a picture on your personal phone if you ask. If you are trying to spot one of these Photopass photographers just look for someone carrying professional camera equipment wearing a tan vest with two large front pockets. However, we are going to break down the must do Photopass spots at Disney World so you know exactly where to head.
Magic Kingdom Perfect Photopass Spots
Castle Shot – There are at least three Photopass stations as you walk down Main Street and you really can’t go wrong with any of them! Pick your favorite or do them all. You do not want to come back home missing a shot of you with Cinderella’s castle. Plus the spots closest to the castle have magic shots with Tinkerbell too!
Mickey Mouse – When you have a chat with Mickey Mouse your reaction is going to be one of a kind. Head over to Town Square theater at the front of Magic Kingdom to experience this one of a kind character interaction.
Tangled Lantern – At last, you’ll see the light! After dusk, find the PhotoPass photographer near Rapunzel Tower offering a special lantern inspired by “Tangled.”
Haunted Mansion – Just outside the gates of the famous Haunted Mansion you can catch a spooky shot with the caretaker’s lantern.
Photopass Must Dos in Epcot
Main Entrance – Spaceship Earth is grand and miraculous so capture a moment in front of it with your family. Plus seasonally Disney has some pretty cool displays at the front of the park. Don’t forget about the photographers around the other side of Spaceship Earth).
Lotus Blossom – At the China Pavilion in Epcot, you’ll find another opportunity to take a photo with one of our new photo props. Each evening, a photographer will have a lotus blossom that will bring beauty and light to your shot.
Eifel Tower – Stop at the bridge at the International Gateway by France to capture a stunning shot with the Eiffel tower in the background.
Animal Kingdom Perfect Photopass Spots
Tree of Life – The showpiece of the park you are going to want to make a Tree of Life shot a must do!
Avatar – How about a picture of you with a Banshee? Once you arrive on Pandora head to the PhotoPass photographer stationed in front of the floating mountains during daylight hours. Once darkness falls on Pandora select Photopass photographers can also capture a Woodsprite magic shot!
Expedition Everest – You can go for the looming mountain in the distance shot or an up-close Everest picture!
Photopass Must Dos in Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Boulevard – Be on the lookout for photographers with special props!
Storm Troopers – Available from the Disney PhotoPass photographer when stationed near the FastPass+ kiosk on Sunset Boulevard between The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith.
Virtual Backgrounds at PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs
Sometimes you just need a little Disney magic to get that perfect background for your photo. The Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs delivers just that. Step in front of one of our dozens of virtual backgrounds that place you in iconic stories, including “Beauty and the Beast,” “Moana, “Toy Story,” and Star Wars. There are even some of your favorite Disney Parks attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and Peter Pan’s Flight.

What to do After you Capture your PhotoPass Moments?
When you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort, you can link photos to your Disney account with your Disney PhotoPass card, MagicBand, park ticket, Memory Maker card or annual pass. From there you can preview, download or order prints via My Disney Experience.
