We got some exciting news last year when we first heard that Disney was expanding their Disney Cruise Line fleet by three. Personally, I think Disney has the most beautiful ships at sea and can’t wait to see the three newest vessels setting sail in 2021, 2022 and 2023 in person. This first, early rendering depicts the magnificent exterior of the newest Disney ships that will elevate family cruise vacations to a whole new level.
In keeping with the distinct Disney Cruise Line style, the new ships will embody the elegance and romance of the golden age of ocean cruising with unique touches all their own. As you can see they look very much like the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. The new vessels will offer more innovation, new technologies, spectacular entertainment and more Disney stories and characters than ever before.
Ingenuity and innovation from stem to stern will amaze and delight Disney Cruise Line guests of all ages. Each new ship will be approximately 140,000 gross tons and each is currently planned to include about 1,250 guest staterooms. This is the same amount of staterooms as the Dream and the Fantasy for comparison but new ships will have about 10,000 more gross tons. This means a bigger ship with fewer people! Sounds like we are in for some new awesome Disney Cruise adventures.
I have been visiting the parks annually since my parents first brought me at just a year old. Recently I was able to fulfill my life long dream of being a Florida local and moved from the wintery Northeast to the sunshine and fun of central Florida. Now I am hoping to share my Disney knowledge with you so you can have the best vacation possible!
