One of the best things about vacationing at Disney World is that it is built for families to enjoy together. There is a classic story of how Walt came to dream up the idea of a Disneyland. He was sitting on a park bench while his daughters were off enjoying the carousel at a local park. Walt wished that there was a way to enjoy these rides with his daughters and thus began the dream of building Disneyland. So we loved the idea of sharing with you what we think are the best rides everyone can enjoy at Disney World.
While not every ride at Disney World is free of restrictions, like height requirements, there are lots of great rides that EVERYONE in your family can go on. This is holding true to the original philosophy that Walt Disney had for his theme parks.
Magic Kingdom Rides for Everyone
Jungle Cruise
Do you like to laugh? Then head on the Jungle Cruise! They are full of jokes (Read the Ten Best Jungle Cruise Jokes!) and while not all of them may be considered “good jokes” the crew here will have you entertained as you travel across the rivers of the world!
Pirates of the Caribbean
Yo Ho! Yo Ho! It’s a pirates life for you! Take a boat journey through the adventures of pirates. Be warned there is a tiny drop on this ride but nothing even this chicken can’t handle!

Peter Pan’s Flight
This Disney attraction is a classic for the whole family to enjoy. Be sure to grab some Fastpasses for this one as the line gets long and stays long all day.
Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid
Dive under the sea with Ariel! Journey through the entire story of the Little Mermaid while on board a clamshell. It’s a great way to cool off when in Fantasyland. The music will have you humming the rest of the day.
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
It’s a Small World
This one is a bit of an earworm but how often can you say you have sailed on the happiest cruise that ever sailed? This ride is crowned with being an original classic Disneyland attraction! The slow ride will give you a chance to rest and cool off.
Epcot Rides for Everyone
Living With the Land
This is one is my favorite from all the Epcot options. Living with the land is a slow-moving boat ride that focuses on plant life and the cycle of it. In the end, you travel through working greenhouses that grow food that Disney serves in its restaurants!
Frozen Ever After
Spaceship Earth
How do you know what the future may look like? Travel through the history of communication and even get a peek into what the future of communications will look like.
The Seas with Nemo and Friends
Mine, mine, mine!! Jump aboard your calm mobile on the hunt for Nemo who has gone missing! If you manage to track down Nemo, I recommend stopping next-door to say hi to Crush. Have your kids prepare questions as Crush will take questions from anyone.

Journey into Imagination with Figment
Figment is a fan favorite. This one is great for the young ones, packed with bright colors and catchy songs.
Grand Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros
Say hello to Donald and friends as you journey through the culture of Mexico in this slow-moving boat ride!

Hollywood Studios Rides for Everyone
Toy Story Mania
This ride will whip you around a bit but any height is allowed here! Challenge your family members and see who has the skills to rank supreme on Toy Story Midway Mania! While this is the only ride that doesn’t have a height requirement at Hollywood Studios that doesn’t mean this park isn’t good for families with young ones. This park is packed with shows like Frozen Sing Along, Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid.
The Animal Kingdom Rides for Everyone
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Na’vi River Journey
So that wraps up our list of great rides everyone can enjoy at Disney World. Share in the comments below some of the attraction you and your family love to all go on together!
I have been visiting the parks annually since my parents first brought me at just a year old. Recently I was able to fulfill my life long dream of being a Florida local and moved from the wintery Northeast to the sunshine and fun of central Florida. Now I am hoping to share my Disney knowledge with you so you can have the best vacation possible!
