The Landscape of Flavor is a quick service dining location at the Art of Animation Resort in Walt Disney World. I think this the best spot out of all the value resorts dining options to grab a quick bite of food. When it first opened this was the shining gold standard of quick service dining. However, after many updates to the value resort at Disney World, this doesn’t stand out quite as much as it used to.
We love that you can find unique food items here, like at lunch and dinner you can get things from a tandoori oven. And my personal favorite at breakfast is a French toast bar. I mean does it get much better than that?

A Look Around Landscape of Flavors
This big open restaurant is cafeteria style, walk up with your tray, get your food, pay and go! That said this is Disney and they spruced it up a bit. We love the coves that represent each one of the movies that the resort features, Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Cars, and Lion King. So you can dine in the same theme as your room or switch it up.
If you are looking for a quieter meal take your food outside or even get it to go and bring it back to your room! When we were visiting family here we were also able to take our food out to the Big Blue Pool and eat with them.
Here is a look at the different bays in which you can order food. They all serve up different things so be sure to check out the overhead menu before you wait. They have them grouped by food types so there is a pasta station, burgers, etc.
If you are coming here to eat though we recommend one station, the Tandoori station. It will give you unique food options and make you feel like you are getting sit down food just at a quick service spot.
If you are not doing the refillable mug they also have a crazy host of drink options in their cooler. This is a standard setup that you find in most hotel quick service food areas.
The Landscape of Flavors Menu Items
So far the Asian Chicken tops my list of best item to eat at the Landscape of Flavors. This is Mongolian Stir-fried Chicken and Broccoli with Jasmine Rice. It was essential classic Disney World friend chicken with a yummy sauce and fresh rice. We thought it was better than the Chinese place we eat at down the street from our house.
This is a look at the Jumbo Stuffed Meatball. It’s not your standard Italian dish though because that meatball sits on a bed of Marinara with Parmesan Herb Polenta. I had just recently tried polenta at California Grill and loved it so I was quick to try out the polenta at Landscape of Flavors for comparison. It was great! It paired really well with the rest of the dish, of course, it doesn’t hurt that this item is loaded with cheese.
Just a quick peek at the inside of the stuffed meatball.
This was a special item the day we were at the resort and unfortunately it isn’t always available. It was Tandoori Boneless Chicken Thighs in a quesadilla. The flavor here was so good and I would totally get this item again if I spotted it!
This is your classic Disney cheeseburger. There really isn’t anything special about the burgers here they are the standard deal that you can find anywhere else in Disney World. The burgers do come with two sides, we opted for french fries and coleslaw.
Art of Animation also has a fantastic pasta station. They cook it all fresh in front of you too! I was seriously impressed. You can place your order and ask for customizations like no spinach or peas if you don’t want green stuff in your pasta.
I really loved this alfredo, it was the perfect amount of creamy. Sometimes the cheese sauces with alfredo are too rich but that is not the case here. The chicken was also a winner since it is the same tandoori chicken they serve over in the grill area.
Overall Recommendation for Landscape of Flavors
We love the options they have here. You can get everything from your basic tenders and burgers to a really great quality Tandoori chicken meal. If you are staying at the Art of Animation Resort you have to stop in and eat here once. Or alternatively, if you are over at Pop Century there is a bridge that connects you to this resort it is worth the walk!

I have been visiting the parks annually since my parents first brought me at just a year old. Recently I was able to fulfill my life long dream of being a Florida local and moved from the wintery Northeast to the sunshine and fun of central Florida. Now I am hoping to share my Disney knowledge with you so you can have the best vacation possible!
