Every year for Easter, Epcot at Disney World has an Eggstravaganza egg hunt. This hunt runs at the same time as the Flower and Garden Spike the Bee hunt. So if you really want to go wild there are two options for scavenger hunts about a month prior to Easter.
What is the Epcot Egg Hunt?
The Epcot Easter Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza is an extra-fee scavenger hunt for eggs that are scattered throughout the theme park. This year we loved that all the eggs are themed after Disney bunnies. It was pretty fitting for the Easter theme.
In order to play, you purchase a map for $9.99 at select retail locations and then head to the various locations and hunt for the hidden Easter egg. When you find it you match the stickers on the back of the map to the one you find in that location.
When your whole map is filled out (or you just are calling it quits) you can take it to a redemption location to have it stamped redeemed for a prize of your choice. Don’t worry you get to keep your maps!
Where to Buy the Easter Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza
While supplies last you get Epcot’s Easter egg hunt from March 13, 2023, through April 9, 2023. There are various locations around Epcot you can buy the Eggstravaganza, we purchased our right at the front of the park in Gateway Gifts. But it is also for sale at Creations Shop, Disney Traders, the Oddessy, Gateway gifts, and more.
Tips for Epcot’s Easter Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza
First and foremost just have fun with this egg hunt! If you don’t find them all no worries, Disney will give you your prize whether find all the answers or not! Also, they don’t verify that the stickers are in the correct spot too.
Second, stay hydrated! This is one of the hotter scavenger hunts and shade is really lacking at Epcot so bring plenty of water or plan to drink your way around the world while on your egg hunt. You could even stop in Club Cool for a free Coke beverage.
