Best Things to Eat at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival

Best Things to Eat at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival

It can be overwhelming when you first get to Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival. You should always start by grabbing a copy of the festival passport. This will tell you where all the booths are as well as the various food and drink items each serves. Since the festival at Epcot just keeps getting bigger and bigger the selection is downright overwhelming. Unless you are ready to drop some major cash and eat a ton of food odds are you aren’t going to be able to try it all. So we know everyone out there could use some help on where to start when going to Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival. Here is our list of the best things to eat at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival based on what we have eaten so far!

Maple Bacon Funnel Cake

For the best thing at this year’s Food and Wine festival head over to the Funnel Cake kiosk over in the American Adventure Pavilion. This Maple Bacon Funnel Cake is topped with Candied Bacon. This one was a real winner for us this year. I am a maple nut so that’s what really won me over. In fact I found myself sliding the bacon off to go straight for the cake and ice cream!

Steakhouse Blended Burger

Steakhouse Blended Burger

Head over to the Earth Eats booth in Future World at Epcot to find this gem. The toppings are what make this burger. This burger has Brie Cheese Fondue, Arugula, Truffle and Blue Cheese Potato Chip on a Brioche Bun. Without the toppings, I have to agree that this would be a bland overcooked Disney burger.

Banana Almond Soft-Serve Sundae

Banana Almond Soft-Serve Sundae

This banana sundae is a real winner at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival! It’vegetarianin and topped with Fresh Berries and Chocolate Almond Streusel. It loaded with tons of fruit and berry flavors sometimes the banana gets lost. Mix it together a little more, after you get that perfect Instagram pic of course, for a better flavor.

Charred Chimichurri Skirt Steak

Best Things to Eat at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival 1

A new item this year at the Flavors from Fire booth. This is Charred Chimichurri Skirt Steak on a Smoked Corn Cake with Pickled Vegetable Slaw and Cilantro Aïoli.

Beef Brisket Poutine

Poutine Beef Brisket

I admit this is my first ever poutine experience and it was so good! To break it down this is French Fries with Beef Brisket, Beer Cheese Sauce, and Poutine Gravy topped with Crispy Onions. My husband wasn’t a fan but he hates gravy and the cheese sauce definitely has that consistently.

Loaded Greek “Nachos”

Loaded Greek “Nachos”

This is a returning item from last year and for a good reason! These nachos are made of up of Pita Chips, Meatless Sausage Crumbles, and Vegan Tzatziki. They are vegetarian but don’t let that scare you away you won’t even notice with all the fantastic flavor.

Creme Brulee

Crème Brûlée à la Confiture de Framboises

My husband’s favorite every year he loves creme brulee. This one has a surprise of a housemade raspberry jam at the bottom.

We hope this helps you decide on some things to try is the sea of offerings at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival. What has your favorite thing been to eat at Epcot Food and Wine? Share it with us in the comment section below!
