Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Gift Card Batuuan Spira

Disney World has really outdone themselves with this special gift card release for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. The all-metal gift card is called Batuuan Spira and can only be found on the planet of Batuu in Hollywood Studios. The Batuuan Spira is the ancient currency of the Black Spire Outpost. Now you can get one of your very own! 

Where to Find Batuuan Spira

We were able to easily pick on up in the small gift shop attached to the Droid Depot. No need to wait in any line for Droid Depot either. If you walk around the corner there is an entrance/exit into the gift shop area.

This seems to be the only spot that is currently selling them. For the opening day of Galaxy’s Edge, there were some reports that it was available in the shops at the front of Hollywood Studios but this is no longer the case. 

Restrictions on Batuuan Spira

So there is one major difference with this Disney World gift card. There must be a minimum of $100 loaded on to it in order to receive free with purchase. This item is refillable, up to $1,000, and you can use it on Batuu or any other Disney planet (aka anywhere else Disney gift cards are accepted). In order for your gift card to be redeemed cast members simply need to scan the special barcode on the back of your coin. 

Note: that this did sell out quickly over in Disneyland (but is now back in stock) and Disney has not said one way or another if this will be a permanent item you can grab at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge.
