Wanting a better look at one of the most exclusive lightsabers in the galaxy? Today we are digging into all things Galactic Starcruiser legacy lightsaber. This lightsaber is the first that isn’t modeled after a character in the Star Wars universe. Instead, this legacy lightsaber is modeled after the training saber you use on the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. I should note that these aren’t the exact same as the ones you use in training and you can not take your own lightsaber to train you must use the ones they provide you.
Where to Buy the Galactic Starcruiser Lightsaber
There is only one place where you can buy the Legacy Lightsaber for the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. It’s inside the shop onboard the Halcyon, the shop is called The Chandrila Collection. The shop is located just off the ship’s Atrium you will see it straight ahead when your first board. Note that the shop is NOT open on the last morning of your journey so be sure to get your shopping in early.
If you want a blade or a carrying case for your Galactic Starcruiser Lightsaber those are sold separately also in the same store. The cases and blades sold on Batuu will also work in this lightsaber if you have some back home or forget to purchase on your trip.
Galactic Starcruiser Lightsaber Price
The current price of the Galactic Starcruiser Legacy Lightsaber is $170. There are no discounts allowed on the lightsaber.
You are limited to only purchasing two per cabin. That means even if you have four adults in your cabin you are still limited to only being able to purchase two. When we went they were very strict on this rule. There was a piece of paper with all the cabin numbers at the cash register and they marked when a limited item was purchased for the room.

The first noticeable difference with the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser Lightsaber is the box. This lightsaber is encased in a black box while the other legacy lightsabers are typically in a gray case. The Halcyon logo is also on the clasp of the box.
The bottom of the case has a sticker with instructions on how to replace the batteries that are inside the lightsaber. There is also the ominous blank price sticker on the bottom of the box which means I expect that the price of these will increase over time, just as we have seen with the other legacy lightsabers in Galaxy’s Edge.
Overall the design of the Galactic Starcruiser Lightsaber is very simplistic.
The red button right below where you can add your custom Aurbesh letter is just for show. It doesn’t actually do anything and it doesn’t turn the lightsabers on.
Below the red button, in with the silver threads is actually where the toggle is for this lightsaber. It is very hidden and it is curious as to why the activator isn’t one of the above buttons.
Another special feature of this lightsaber hilts is that it is customizable. You can choose to customize your hilt via attachable letter icons written in Aurebesh. With every starcruiser lightsaber, you get one of each letter of the entire Aurebesh alphabet.
I will say these letters aren’t the most secure attachment. You only get one of each letter and no backups so if you plan on taking your hilt out and about with you I recommend skipping the letters.
Another negative we have heard is that when some go to remove their custom letter it breaks. They are made of cheap thin plastic so they are not the most sturdy lightsaber additions.
The lightsaber is powered by three AAA batteries. You can access the battery area by unscrewing the bottom cap on the lightsaber.
