If you are a Florida resident, then chances are you are just a few short minutes or hours from Disney World! Disney World offers so many great discounts and enticing deals to get Florida residents in the parks, especially during the offseason. Here is the ultimate Disney World guide for Florida Residents.

Take Advantage of Offseason Periods
If you want to get the best bang for your Disney buck, and you don’t have an annual pass, the best time to visit is during the offseason months. While there are no more dead times at Disney World as far as the crowds go, there are times where things will cost you less! See Disney moved to a variable priced park ticket system so a one-day park ticket will cost you more Christmas Day vs. January 20th. Park tickets will be much lower during this period and if you can even spend a few nights in the resort for a significant discount! Keep an eye out on Disney’s website for special offers for Florida residents during offseason.
If you Live Close, Consider a Day Trip
Disney offers single-day admission to the parks, but you will have to choose which park you will be visiting. A day trip to Disney will save you money on the cost of a hotel, which can easily add a few extra hundreds to the total cost of your trip. A day trip will still allow you to enjoy all the Disney magic, without the additional markup.
Head to the parks in the Evening
If you want to experience some of the lower wait times and an overall less crowded park, head to the parks during the late afternoon and early evening. You’ll experience shorter wait times, and be able to walk through the park more accessible.
Whether you are a huge Disney fan, or just looking to get the most out of your Florida discount, this guide will help you spend more time in the parks for less!
