Le Cellier Steakhouse Dining Review

Le Cellier Steakhouse Dining Review

Tucked into the Canada pavilion is one of Epcot’s most popular dining spots. This restaurant has created a following just based on its cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread.  Let’s take a look at our full Le Cellier Steakhouse dining review.

It recently updated its menu to be the same for both lunch and dinner as well as requiring two dining plan credits for both lunch and dinner. So bad news if you are looking to save some money by eating a cheaper option at lunch. If you are using the dining plan we recommend paying out-of-pocket for this location, it just isn’t worth the two credit value Disney puts on this spot.

A Tour Around Le Cellier Steakhouse

This dining room is the smallest at Epcot, part of the reason it can be so hard to get a dining reservation. We also heard a few large parties having an issue while we were waiting to be seated. Apparently, Le Cellier can only accommodate parties up to 8 and anything larger will be split into separate tables and you may not be seated near one another.

Inside Le Cellier Epcot Disney World

Stepping into Le Cellier feels like being transported to a cozy cellar tucked away in the heart of the Canadian countryside. The restaurant’s rustic yet elegant decor features stone walls, wooden beams, and flickering candlelight, creating an inviting and intimate atmosphere. Soft background music, reminiscent of the Canadian wilderness, completes the immersive dining experience.

 Le Cellier Steakhouse Dishes

The following is a look at some of the food we have gotten at Le Cellier Steakhouse.

Pretzel Bread

Le Cellier Steakhouse Dining Review 3

Every meal at Le Cellier starts off with a bread basket, this includes the famous pretzel bread! In fact, you may just want to ask for just pretzel bread it’s that good! The pretzel bread features a slightly chewy exterior, seasoned with coarse salt, and a tender, flavorful interior. Its savory taste pairs wonderfully with the other elements of the meal.

There is a wholesome multigrain bread, featuring a blend of whole grains and seeds. The nutty and hearty flavor of this bread complements the rustic ambiance of the restaurant.

And lastly, the basket also includes Sourdough Bread, a classic choice, sourdough bread is characterized by its tangy flavor and chewy texture. It provides a delightful contrast to the richness of the main dishes.

Baby Iceberg Wedge Salad

Le Cellier Steakhouse Dining Review 4

This salad is a 10 out of 10, I mean just look at the tower of crispy onions you really can’t hate this dish! The wedge was filled with marinated Toy Box Tomatoes, Edamame, Applewood-smoked Bacon, Smokey Blue Cheese Dressing, and Crispy Onions.

AAA Canadian Tenderloin

Le Cellier Steakhouse Dining Review 5

Le Cellier is renowned for its exceptional steaks, which are aged to perfection and expertly prepared by the restaurant’s talented chefs. The menu showcases a variety of prime cuts, such as the mouthwatering Filet Mignon. The filet was excellent, full of flavor and it was cooked perfectly. This is why we love coming back to this restaurant.

It’s hard to say which was better the risotto or the potatoes! My husband isn’t a fan of mushrooms so he crowned the mashed potatoes as the winner for the evening.

Maple Crème Brûlée

Maple Crème Brûlée

This has to be the best dessert on the menu if you like maple you have to try this. Of course, I blinked when this was brought to our table and my husband had finished the whole thing already. If you are splitting be prepared to fight for it!

 Le Cellier Steakhouse Recommendation

Overall our Le Cellier Steakhouse dining review is the food held up for us but the rest of it didn’t. We both had an outstanding meal of steak and everything was cooked perfectly. What I didn’t cover above is that when we arrived for a reservation we were told that we could have to wait up to 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. If it was later in the evening I can see them getting delayed from a table that stayed late but we were there for a reservation just before 5 pm.

Once we were seated we found ourselves crammed in with everyone else. I get the restaurant is small so this is to be expected but compared to other Disney Signature locations this is out of the norm. Since we were there on a chilly day and so many people were having to wait for a table, the crowd of people waiting lined up all the way down the hall. Quite a few were just standing there staring into the restaurant… at us… the entire time we ate. Again, not something I want to pay a premium for.
