How To Make Your Own Toy Story Alien Slime

If you haven’t heard there is an all-new Toy Story headed for the big screens! This time around Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang embark on a road trip with Bonnie and a new toy named Forky. The adventurous journey turns into an unexpected reunion as Woody’s slight detour leads him to his long-lost friend Bo Peep! In celebration of this new movie I thought I would share with you a fun related craft to do with your kids! It’s all on how to make your own slime! But of course, not just any slime this is Toy Story alien slime! 

Ingredients for Alien Slime

• ½ Cup – Clear Elmer’s Glue
• ½ Cup – Water
• ½ Cup – Liquid Starch
• 5-8 Drops – Neon Green Food Coloring
• 1 Tbsp. – Neon Green Glitter
• ¼  Cup –  Small Googly Eyes

 

Directions to Make Toy Story Alien Slime

First things first it’s time to gather all your ingredients listed above! I included links to my favorite supply spot, Amazon.

In a large bowl combine glue and water, mix until well incorporated.

Add in food coloring, glitter, and googly eyes.  Stir thoroughly. If you want your slime to have a little alien glow to it in this step you could opt to add in some glow in the dark glitter. Or you can mix in a little glow in the dark paint.

Slowly stir pour in your liquid starch stirring as you go.

Now it’s time to have some fun! Knead and play with the slime to get it to a good consistency. As you play with it the eyes may pop out but you can pick them up and squish them back in! I even recommend re-watching a Toy Story movie while you make this slime.

For storage, I recommend a mason jar. It’s super cheap to pick up a couple at Wal-Mart. You can even dress up your jar to have pants just like the Aliens in Toy Story. Let us know in the comments below if you plan on making it out to see Toy Story 4 in theaters!
