Arriving at Disney’s Boo Bash

Guide to Disney After Hours BOO BASH 4

When you enter for the After Hours event it’s just like it was in the past. You must enter using the far right turnstiles for the event. This entrance area will be marked with signage that says event only. You will only be able to enter the park with your Boo Bash ticket at 7 pm or later.

After getting into the park you will promptly need to get your wristband and then once on Main Street USA they had the event guide maps ready for you to pick up as well as your starter trick or treat bags. If you are already inside the park once 7 pm hits you can also pick up your wristband by Stitches Greatest Escape in Tomorrowland.

Boo Bash Guide Map

Just as with other events there is a special guide map for Boo Bash.

What Is Open for Disney Boo Bash?

Decorations on Main Street, U.S.A., will receive a magical transformation during event nights in October. Walt Disney Imagineering, in partnership with the Walt Disney World Resort Holiday Services team, will blend a fall look with the enchanting story of Cinderella by creating special pumpkin coach decorations. This new décor will add to the park’s sparkling EARidescence during “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” that begins Oct. 1, honoring the 50thanniversary of Walt Disney World.

Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade

Special cavalcades will pop up throughout the night including “Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade,” with Mickey Mouse and friends dressed up for the occasion.

Disney Villains Halloween Cavalcade

In the “Disney Villains Halloween Cavalcade,” villains will take to the street and celebrate their favorite time of the year.

Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade

“Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade” will feature Jack Skellington, Sally and Oogie Boogie riding down the parade path to “This is Halloween.”

Maleficent

Maleficent will also make an appearance in the form of a fire-breathing dragon.

Characters

Some of your favorite friends will be lurking about. A Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween favorite of the lovely Miss Carlotta at the Haunted Mansion tops our list! You will also be able to catch Goofy and Chip ‘n’ Dale in their Halloween best, with other surprise characters popping up across the park, too.

Cadaver Dans

You can even stop and listen to the Cadaver Dans during their special comeback (from the dead) performance.

Food

Just as with other After Hours events you will be able to get select complimentary snacks like ice cream novelties and popcorn, along with select beverages, which are included in the cost of the event.

A variety of specialty food and drinks will be available for purchase including an Apple Ginger Dale frozen drink (frozen apple cider mixed with ginger ale and topped with whipped cream) and a Foolish Mortal Funnel Cake.)**

Attractions

After the park closes to day guests, enjoy less time waiting in line for more than 20 attractions including Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion attraction, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan’s Flight, Space Mountain, and more. The night we went to the party we didn’t wait more than 15 minutes for any attraction and most were a complete walk on.

Trick or Treating

Guide to Disney After Hours BOO BASH 7

Just like with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party you will also be able to trick or treat during party hours. There is a trick or treat location in each land and it is marked by a candy wrapper on your guidemap. I was hoping these each would be like a treat trail where you would get more than one handful of candy. We were able to loop one location in order to fill up our bags without having to criss cross the park which was handy.

PhotoPass

Disney PhotoPass will also be available to take your magical and spooky shots throughout the night. The photo opporunites are marked by a camera on the guide map.

Conclusion on BOO BASH

“Disney After Hours Boo Bash” tickets will grant admission to Magic Kingdom Park as early as 7 p.m., giving you time to enjoy even more of your favorite Magic Kingdom Park haunts before the event begins. These dated event tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or Disney Park Pass theme park reservation.

While this doesn’t compare to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween and sits at a higher price point it’s all we got for a special Halloween party this year. I am personally looking forward to going and checking it out before I make any official conclusions on the event. Let us know in the comments below if you planning on attending BOO BASH this year.
