A Tour Around Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill modernizes the traditional “bar and grill” concept with approachable dining in a dynamic setting inspired by traditional farmhouses and a touch of California elegance. The restaurant captures the essence of the laid-back Californian dining experience, made popular by Puck himself. The Disney Springs location will be Puck’s fourth Bar & Grill behind LA Live, MGM in Las Vegas and most recently, Summerlin.

Seating inside of Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill

The 250-seat restaurant provides a warm and casual environment in the heart of Disney Springs. The design is reminiscent of a grand barn house; it features natural materials and a working fireplace, providing a sense of tranquility, refinement, and warmth.

Both the lunch and dinner menus offer a variety of Puck’s signature dishes such as pizzas from a wood-burning oven, handmade pasta, steak and seafood with menu items often featuring local and organic ingredients. Lunch menu items include Local Burrata with baby carrots, romesco, and grilled ciabatta; Heirloom Baby Beet Salad with winter citrus, pistachio ricotta salsa cheese; Fennel Sausage Pizza with pickled peppers and rapini; and the WP Burger with white cheddar cheese, red onion marmalade, garlic aioli on a brioche bun. Dinner menu items include BBQ Shrimp Pizza with toasted padron pepper and red onion; My Grandmother’s Lasagna with traditional meat sauce and bechamel; Olive Oil Seared Red Snapper with mussels, clams and fennel, in a spicy tomato broth; and a 32 oz Porterhouse Steak for two with roasted elephant garlic and fries. To complement the dining experience, the restaurant features a full-service bar with an extensive selection of classic and artisanal cocktails, craft beers and wines.

Dishes from Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill

Here is a look at the dishes we tried from our dinner at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill 21

The Bruschetta has marinated tomatoes, torn mozzarella, pesto aïoli, toasted ciabatta.

Wolfgang Puck Pepperoni Pizza

This is Wolfgang’s spin on a pepperoni pizza.  The pepperoni was mixed with a salami type meat and Fresno chilies. I was wondering if this one was going to end up being spicy but it ended up not being spicy at all.

Cheeseburger Wolfgang Puck

The red onion marmalade sauce that is smoother on top of this burger, made the whole thing. The burger had a lot of flavor and I was happy with my pick for dinner.

Rigatoni, don’t let its description fool you, bolognese meat sauce, pecorino cheese. This has been one of my favorite dishes. The pasta was very fresh and the sauce is one of the best I have ever had.

Our waiter talked my husband into trying out the Chicken Weinerschnitzel. If you are unfamiliar, it’s basically like a breaded pan-fried chicken. This is dish is paired with marinated tomatoes, dill cucumbers, fingerling potatoes, mache. This dish also got two thumbs up and is something we have gone back to order a second time!

For us the Pan-roasted Half Chicken. I thought the sauce was really good but the rest of the dish really just fell flat.

Crème Brûlee is served in a big old bowl of yummy! I love that they didn’t skimp of the fruit portion too. Fruit is always the perfect accompaniment with this dessert.

Chocolate Lava Cake is a delight and in my opinion the best way to end your meal.

Review Recommendation

Overall, we thoroughly enjoy dropping in for a meal at Wolfgang Puck. Our main complaint about this spot is they don’t take any discounts. Lunch is great to enjoy a pizza or burger and at dinner, we most enjoy the fresh homemade pasta. The service was amazing and I was surprised at how smoothly the whole experience went considering we were there the opening weekend.
