In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, there is a new collection of statues placed around Walt Disney World. There are 50 characters in golden statues all featuring your favorite Disney characters. The statues are placed throughout all four of the Disney World Resort theme parks. Let’s take a look at the Disney World 50th Anniversary Golden Statues and where you can go find them for yourself.
One of the most fun and special things about all these statues is they are built true to size. That means the characters you see in the statues are the exact size you would see them if you met them in real life. It makes for some surprises as you go around and find them all throughout the Walt Disney World parks.

Magic Kingdom 50th Statues
Out of all the theme parks, the Magic Kingdom is the one that holds the most of the 50th-anniversary statues. There are 25 characters in total at this park.
Stitch
Of course, we expect nothing less than Stitch to be different from everyone else. You can find Stitch right by the Purple Wall on the way into Tomorrowland. He is hanging out up high on a wall and not on a pedestal like all the other 50th statues.
Mad Hatter
Right by the Mad Tea Cups, you can spot the Mad Hatter from Alice and Wonderland. Of course, the Hatter is spotted with a big cup of tea in his hand as he is trapped in a never-ending tea party.
Cheshire Cat
There is another familiar friend hanging out by the Mad Tea Cups. To find this mischievous cat be sure to look at the trees. Just like in Alice in Wonderland you can find this cat with his extra-large smile and perched up in a tree.
Lady and the Tramp
These two are the first to greet you as you enter under the train station and head into the park they are in the center garden area with the flag pole is at the front of the Magic Kingdom. Lady and the Tramp are also appropriately close to the restaurant that features them, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant.
Dumbo and Timothy Mouse
This large ear elephant surprisingly isn’t back in Fantasyland he is up by a popcorn stand in the front of the park by the castle. If you are facing the front of the castle. At the end of Dumbo’s trunk is Timothy Mouse.
Chip and Dale
This classic brother duo are known for their high-pitched speech and knack for getting into mischief. As you can see they are located in the garden area in front of Cinderella’s Castle.
Goofy
You can almost hear Goofy saying Gwarsh! He is directly in front of the castle by Mickey and Minnie.
Daisy
Daisy is the girlfriend of Donald Duck who you will see right next to her. Daisy is also the best friend of Minnie Mouse. You can spot her right in front of Cinderella’s Castle in the center hub.
Donald
Donald Duck is celebrating in his 50th statue. Donald is known for his sort of intelligible speech and his mischievous, temperamental, and stubborn personality. You can find him right in front of Cinderella’s Castle in the center hub.
Pluto
Of course, Mickey’s dog Pluto had to be included in the bunch. His statue is located right in front of Cinderella’s Castle near Mickey and Minnie’s statue.
Mickey and Minnie
This original duo steals the show. Mickey and Minnie are located right in front of Cinderellas Castle in the center hub. If you want to grab a picture here there is often times a Photopass photographer right nearby!
Jaq and Gus Gus
I love these two mice from Cinderella were included in the 50th statue lineup. They are right by the front of the castle. Look for the little turret off to the right of the castle. You can walk inside and you will find these two up high holding up their 50th medallion.
Pinocchio
You can find this statue behind the castle in Fantasyland. It is right by the castle walls that are closest to Pinocchio Village Haus. While you are here be sure to stop and see Cogsworth and Lumiere who have their statue right nearby.
Cogsworth and Lumiere
This classic duo from Beauty and the Beast is located behind Cinderella’s Castle in Fantasyland. Look for the extra castle wall that you pass by on your way to the Be Our Guest Restaurant. You will find Cogsworth and Lumiere right along the way.
Winnie the Pooh and Piglet
Pooh and Piglet embrace in a big hug for their statue. The statue is over by the restaurant, the Crystal Palace. We spotted it on the walkway from Main Street into Adventureland.
Abu
This sneaky monkey from Aladdin was a tricky one to find. To be honest, the first time we walked right past him and missed him. As you walk into Adventureland be sure to look up at the big sign. On the right, you will find Abu with his shiny 50th gold coin. This location is also right outside the Club 33 location for the Magic Kingdom.
Orange Bird
This little guy is a bit trickier to spot. The Orange Bird is of course is hanging out where you would expect in Adventureland. You will spot him on a porch not far from where citrus swirls are served up. If you are struggling to find him go past the Citrus Tree Swirl heading towards the Flying Magic Carpet ride, he will be on your right on the front porch of a house.
Tinkerbell
We saved the hardest statue for last. Not only was this one tricky to find we felt out of all the parks and all the characters this one is definitely the most hidden. She is actually in the hub area by the castle but more tucked off to the side.
If you are staring straight at the front of the castle she will be in an area off to the left. You can look for a popcorn cart which is immediately behind Tinkerbell’s 50th statue. She is super small and perched on top of a spiral topiary.
Epcot 50th Golden Statues
Let’s take a look at the statues that are all located at Showcase Plaza at Epcot. Most of them are located between two shops that are located at the front of World Showcase. If you want to spot Figment be sure to head across the bridge to the front of the park.
Dante and Miguel
Strumming his guitar you can almost hear the words of, Un Poco Loco from the movie Coco.
The loco that you make me
-Miguel, COCO
It is just un poco crazy
The sense that you’re not making
The liberties you’re taking
Leaves my cabeza shaking
You are just
Un poco loco
Rocket and Groot
This duo from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is inseparable so it’s only fitting that they share a statue together. Rocket stands tall while a younger Groot is perched on his shoulder.
Olaf and Bruni
I was most excited to see Olaf, he is one of my favorite Disney characters. It looks like he dancing around enjoying that Florida sunshine and summer! Do not miss out on Bruni, the salamander from Frozen II, hanging out on the top of his pedestal.
Pua and Hei Hei
From the movie Moana, we got the sidekicks of Pua and Hei Hei. The loveable Hei Hei is perched atop Puas head. This reminds me of their adorable Pop Funko that was an Amazon Exclusive.
Hollywood Studios 50th Golden Statues
The statues are also centralized in Hollywood Studios to right in front of the Chinese Theater. You will spot them in the gardens on both sides of the theater.
Edna Mode
I forgot how short Edna was and I just love she got an extra high pedestal since that seems like something her character would demand.
Joe Gardner
The size of this statue is so impressive, he is a full human sized statue. The keyboard he is playing is sort of a wonder as it floats mid air. As you can tell from the image above Joe’s statue sits in front of the Chinese Theater and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
Frozone
This by far represents one of the largest statues out of the entire 50th collection. Frozone is seen surfing in on one of his ice waves. Note that his 50th medallion got an extra special placement.
Sebastian and Flounder
This two are small and easy to miss so stay on the lookout. Sebastian and Flounder are popping out of the water to say hello! It almost appears as though they are going to break out in song.
BB8
The classic scene from The Star Wars The Force Awakens BB8’s statue is giving us the thumbs up! This statue is placed right next to the other statue representing Star Wars, R2-D2.
R2-D2
Located right next to BB8, R2-D2 is the OG famous Star Wars droid.
Animal Kingdom 50th Statues
The golden statues for Animal Kingdom are located right in front of the Tree of Life.
Bambi and Thumper
Bambi and Thumper share a pedestal for their 50th statue. Bambi is looking at a butterfly that landed on his tail. As you can see with this shot Bambi and Thumper can be seen right in front of the Tree of Life.
Simba and Pumba, Timon
Pumba, Timon, and Simba sit with a perfect view right in front of the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom.
Dory and Nemo
Just keep swimming! This lovable duo is swimming above coral and an anemone. Also for life size these two fish are giant compared to the ones I see in the fish store! This statue is tucked up right in front of the tree off to the right side of the area.
