Disney World is packed with wonderful romantic date night opportunities. People often think that Disney is just for kids but in reality, there are plenty of options for adults available at Disney World. Disney offers sunset safaris to movies on the beach, there are endless opportunities to share special memories with your loved one. Here is a list of some of the best date night ideas we found at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Sunset Safari

Disney has a paid and free experience for a sunset safari. First, the Animal Kingdom Lodge offer’s the Wanyama Safari. This safari will take you out to the Animal Kingdom Lodge savannah and end with a delicious meal at Jiko.

Carriage Ride

Take a romantic carriage ride along the riverbanks over at Fort Wilderness. Carriage rides are also offered over at Port Orleans Riverside.

Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party

If fireworks weren’t romantic enough why not add a private boat tour to the mix? Disney offers a wide selection of private cruises. You can choose to set sail from the Magic Kingdom Resort Marinas or from the Yacht and Beach Club. Want to step your game up? You can opt to do add private dining to your cruise which includes your own butler. Going for a grand and majestic option? Then you will want to check out the Grand 1 Yacht.

Catch a Disney Movie on the Beach

Resort guests can enjoy what Disney calls, Movies Under the Stars. This is the perfect date option for Disney movie fans out there. Depending on your resort you can lounge by the pool and enjoy your flick or view it waterside on the beach.

Grand Floridian Society Orchestra

As if the Grand Floridan wasn’t already romantic enough you can also relax in their lobby and enjoy the sounds of the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra. The orchestra will entertain you with ragtime, Dixie, traditional jazz and popular Disney tunes.

Dance the Night away at Jellyrolls

Did you know there is a dance hall at Walt Disney World? This a 21 and up location only, so no kids! The highlight of Jellyrolls is the dueling piano bar, they will play any request. So go ahead and take the challenge to find something they don’t know how to play.
