2022 Disney’s Animal Kingdom Map
This year’s map brings in lots of fun golden touches for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. The beacons of light made the front cover, a special event happening on the Tree of Life for the 50th celebration. You can also see a glimpse of the Simba statue that is located here too.
Kitetails is an all-new show that takes place on the river theater throughout the day. Back this year are both the Lion King and an all new Finding Nemo show. Note that Primevil Whirl has been torn down and removed.
2021 Animal Kingdom Map
This map looks a lot different with the effects of the pandemic having many of the shows at this park closed. You will also notice new items like mask relaxation zones.
2019 Animal Kingdom Map
This map debuted in November of 2019 in order to reflect the special holiday offerings happening at the Animal Kingdom.

Disney park maps are a great way to get the lay of the land. I recommend reviewing the park map to at least know the general direction of each of the lands prior to your first visit. You don’t want to arrive and be slowed down just trying to figure out where you need to go next and how to get there. Every Disney World park map clearly marks attractions, dining, shows, bathrooms, etc. Of course, if you are in the park and can’t find something any Disney World cast member will be able to help you out on finding your way.
If you are looking for the times of shows and hours of operation for restaurants and rides you won’t find it on the map. Instead, be sure to grab the paper times guide at the entrance of Animal Kingdom or use the My Disney Experience App on your phone.

I have been visiting the parks annually since my parents first brought me at just a year old. Recently I was able to fulfill my life long dream of being a Florida local and moved from the wintery Northeast to the sunshine and fun of central Florida. Now I am hoping to share my Disney knowledge with you so you can have the best vacation possible!
