How Much Does it Cost to Go to Disney World?

On average, it will cost a family of four approximately $5,000 to go on a Walt Disney World vacation in 2021-2022. This is in contrast to when the park opened back in 1971 and only costs adults $3.50 a ticket (oh, what a time that would have been, right?) As of 2022, the price for single-day tickets will be increasing to a minimum of $134 per person – a significant price hike from $109 daily tickets, which are pretty hard to come by. In fact, the next availability for a $ 109-day ticket isn’t until August 2022. Granted, the price of your Disney vacation will be dependent on lots of factors including the time of year you visit, where you stay, and if you add on any additional extras like Boo Bash or Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours.  Here’s everything you need to know about pricing out your family’s Walt Disney World vacation:  Average Room Rate for Disney World Resort Hotels Disney World splits its resorts into three categories: deluxe, moderate, and value. Technically, I guess you could throw in deluxe villas and campgrounds, but they’re so minimal that they can be tossed in with value resorts and deluxe hotels.  Disney’s

The Best Disney Candy Stores

Whenever I visit Walt Disney World, I’m there for two things: the rides and the snacks. Seriously, my perfect day would include eating my way through the World Showcase and ordering one of everything off of Karamell-Küche’s menu. While the snacks are definitely plentiful at Disney World, there are so many amazing candy stores that you may not have previously heard of. Here are the best Disney candy stores (and of course, our recommendation of what you should order): Karamell-Küche Let’s start off strong with Karamell-Küche located at the Germany pavilion in the World Showcase. Here, you’ll find everything caramel – and I do mean everything: caramel-covered apples, caramel-dipped and filled cookies, fruits, popcorn, fudge, cupcakes – you’ll be able to find anything your heart desires. The term Karamell-Küche translates to “caramel kitchen” in English and the term could not be a better descriptor for what you’ll find here. It’s a caramel haven.  The coolest thing about this candy shop though is that you’ll be able to see the caramels cooking in the oven. The menu is constantly changing, but we recommend trying the caramel corn next time you visit. It’s so melty and buttery and unlike any type of

How I Avoid Having Stomach Issues at Disney

Do you know the common saying that Disney calories don’t count? Well, unfortunately, that mantra has gotten me into trouble and made my day at the Most Magical Place on Earth a lot less…magical to say the least. Stomach issues at Disney aren’t fun, but unfortunately, they are common. Prolonged sun exposure, extreme walking, and a mixture of fun and funky flavors can all cause stomach issues such as gastrointestinal issues and abdominal cramps. Luckily though, there are a few ways you can prevent such discomfort.  Bring Stomach Meds While you pack, don’t forget to bring some stomach meds to help with unexpected cramps or gastro issues such as Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics. Digestive Enzymes help break down protein, carbohydrates, and fats from food. Essentially, these enzymes help transform the food you eat into something your digestional tract can absorb by speeding up your body’s chemical reactions. Most health professionals agree that you should take a Digestive Enzyme right before you eat, however, always talk to your doctor before following any type of medical advice.  Probiotics, on the other hand, are live bacteria that promote optimal gut health. These supplements can help relieve pain and discomfort caused by irritable bowel
