A Tour Around Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill modernizes the traditional “bar and grill” concept with approachable dining in a dynamic setting inspired by traditional farmhouses and a touch of California elegance. The restaurant captures the essence of the laid-back Californian dining experience, made popular by Puck himself. The Disney Springs location will be Puck’s fourth Bar & Grill behind LA Live, MGM in Las Vegas and most recently, Summerlin.

The 250-seat restaurant provides a warm and casual environment in the heart of Disney Springs. The design is reminiscent of a grand barn house; it features natural materials and a working fireplace, providing a sense of tranquility, refinement, and warmth.

Both the lunch and dinner menus offer a variety of Puck’s signature dishes such as pizzas from a wood-burning oven, handmade pasta, steak, and seafood with menu items often featuring local and organic ingredients. Lunch menu items include Local Burrata with baby carrots, romesco, and grilled ciabatta; Heirloom Baby Beet Salad with winter citrus, pistachio ricotta salsa cheese; Fennel Sausage Pizza with pickled peppers and rapini; and the WP Burger with white cheddar cheese, red onion marmalade, garlic aioli on a brioche bun. Dishes from Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill

Here is a look at the dishes we tried from our dinner at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.

Bruschetta

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill 5

The Bruschetta has marinated tomatoes, torn mozzarella, pesto aïoli, toasted ciabatta.

Baby Gem Caesar

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill 6

Nothing too radical about this dish, it’s your classic Caesar salad. It’s served with a creamy garlic dressing, pecorino cheese, and ciabatta croutons. It pairs great with any of the Italian dishes off the menu.

Pepperoni Pizza

Wolfgang Puck Pepperoni Pizza

This is Wolfgang’s spin on a pepperoni pizza.  The pepperoni was mixed with a salami type meat and Fresno chilies. I was wondering if this one was going to end up being spicy but it ended up not being spicy at all.

Grilled Prime Burger

Cheeseburger Wolfgang Puck

The red onion marmalade sauce that is smoother on top of this burger, made the whole thing. The burger had a lot of flavor and I was happy with my pick for dinner.

Rigatoni

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill 7

Rigatoni, don’t let its description fool you, bolognese meat sauce, pecorino cheese. This has been one of my favorite dishes. The pasta was very fresh and the sauce is one of the best I have ever had.

Chicken Weinerschnitzel

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill 8

Our waiter talked my husband into trying out the Chicken Weinerschnitzel. If you are unfamiliar, it’s basically like a breaded pan-fried chicken. This is dish is paired with marinated tomatoes, dill cucumbers, fingerling potatoes, mache. This dish also got two thumbs up and is something we have gone back to order a second time!

Pan-Roasted Half Chicken

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill 9

For us the Pan-roasted Half Chicken. I thought the sauce was really good but the rest of the dish really just fell flat.

Crème Brûlee

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill 10

Crème Brûlee is served in a big old bowl of yummy! I love that they didn’t skimp on the fruit portion too. Fruit is always the perfect accompaniment with this dessert.

Spanish Cheesecake

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill 11

The Spanish Cheesecake is served with a house-made caramel sauce, and graham cracker crumbles. This cheesecake has a completely different texture compared to the more common NY Cheesecake. The texture is more of a gooey interior. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the texture and this dessert was a totally flop, but I am glad I tried something new.

Chocolate Lava Cake

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill 12

Chocolate Lava Cake is a delight and in my opinion, the best way to end your meal. It was warm and packed the perfect amount of chocolate flavor. The vanilla gelato on the side was the perfect pairing to go with the cake and cut some of the richness down.

Review Recommendation

Overall, we thoroughly enjoy dropping in for a meal at Wolfgang Puck. Our main complaint about this spot is they don’t take any discounts. Lunch is great to enjoy a pizza or burger and at dinner, we most enjoy the fresh homemade pasta. The service was amazing and I was surprised at how smoothly the whole experience went considering we were there the opening weekend.
