Must Have Best Disney Snacks in 2023!

Must Have Best Disney Snacks in 2023!

Walt Disney World has always set itself apart from other theme parks with its immense dedication to storytelling and great attractions, but in the last 10 years, Disney has really stepped up their snack game.

When you think of typical theme park snacks there is a sense of nostalgia to it all. Simple snacks for a simpler time. Disney World has all of these and they just do it better. We’re not sure how Disney manages to take such iconic snacks and make them so amazing. We think it’s the Pixie Dust!

Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is known for its delicious and diverse selection of snacks, treats, and desserts. Here are some must-try iconic snacks to add to your 2023 Disney World bucket list:

1.   Dole Whip

Dole Whip is a delicious and iconic frozen treat served at various Disney Parks and Resorts, including Walt Disney World in Florida. The treat was first introduced at Disneyland in the 1980s and has since become a beloved snack among Disney fans.

Dole Whip is a non-dairy soft-serve dessert made with pineapple juice, sugar, and a special stabilizing agent that gives it its signature creamy texture. It’s gluten-free, vegan, and contains no artificial flavors or colors.

At Walt Disney World, you can find Dole Whip at various locations throughout the parks, including Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom, Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Tamu Tamu Refreshments at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You can also find variations of the classic Dole Whip, such as the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake with Dole Whip at Aloha Isle or the Kakamora Float with Coconut Dole Whip at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park.

If you want to try some wild Dole Whip flavors like Chili Lime, Cookie Dough, sip some alcoholic Dole Whip slushies, or nibble on Dole Whip nachos, head on down to Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs. The flavor menu changes with the seasons and has us whipping our head around to see what flavor they can come up with next!

In addition to the classic pineapple flavor, you can also find Dole Whip in other flavors such as orange, lime, and raspberry at select locations. Dole Whip is a popular snack at Disney, so be sure to take advantage of Mobile Ordering on your My Disney Experience app at popular locations!

2.   Mickey-Shaped Pretzel

Mickey-shaped pretzels are a popular snack item at Walt Disney World in Florida. These savory treats are shaped like Mickey Mouse and can be found at various locations throughout the parks. Basically, any time you see a snack cart, you can expect them to have Mickey Pretzels!

These pretzels are typically served with mustard for dipping, but you can also request cheezy sauce or other condiments if you prefer.

Mickey-shaped pretzels are a fun and whimsical take on a classic snack, and they make for a great photo opportunity. They’re also a filling snack that can help keep you going throughout a busy day at the parks. Be sure to try one on your next visit to Walt Disney World!

Popcorn at Kat Saka’s in Galaxy’s Edge is especially fun with its sweet and spicy mix of flavors.

One unique aspect of Disney World popcorn is the souvenir popcorn bucket. These collectible buckets come in various shapes and designs, such as a Mickey Mouse or Cinderella Castle-shaped bucket, and can be refilled at a discounted price. The souvenir popcorn buckets make for a great keepsake and are a popular item among park guests, and a must have for families coming with children! Disney popcorn is by far the most economical snack and kids love it. Win!

Popcorn is a great snack to munch on while waiting in line for a ride or watching a show, and it’s a relatively inexpensive snack option compared to some of the other treats at Disney World. Be sure to grab a bucket (or a refillable souvenir bucket!) during your next visit to the parks.

Pssst – Loungefly also has a Disney popcorn set out of ears and backpacks! And they’re scented!

5. Mickey Premium Bar

Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar

The Mickey Premium Bar is a popular Disney World treat that has been around for several decades. This iconic snack is a vanilla ice cream bar shaped like Mickey Mouse’s head and is covered in a thick layer of chocolate.

You can find Mickey Premium Bars at various locations throughout the parks, including ice cream carts and kiosks. The bars are often displayed in ice cream freezers near the front of the carts, making them easy to spot.

The Mickey Premium Bar is a classic Disney World snack that many park guests have fond memories of enjoying during their childhood. It’s a refreshing treat on a hot day and the perfect snack to enjoy while watching a parade or fireworks show.

Mickey Premium Bars are incredibly messy but totally worth it! Just bring wipes.

6. Cheeseburger Spring Rolls

The cheeseburger spring rolls are a popular snack item at Walt Disney World in Florida. These crispy, deep-fried rolls are filled with seasoned ground beef, onions, pickles, and melted cheese, making them a delicious take on a classic cheeseburger.

You can find cheeseburger spring rolls at the Adventureland Spring Roll Cart in the Magic Kingdom. They’re typically sold in pairs and served with a side of dipping sauce, such as ketchup or mustard.

Though the cheeseburger spring rolls are by far the most popular (for good reason), this cart often features other flavors as well. We have seen pastrami, philly cheesesteak, pizza, and more.

The cheeseburger spring rolls have become a fan favorite at Disney World and are often listed among the top snacks to try during a visit. They’re a filling snack that can be enjoyed on the go, making them perfect for a busy day at the parks.

If you’re a fan of cheeseburgers and spring rolls, the cheeseburger spring rolls are definitely worth a try during your next visit to Disney World. However, keep in mind that the Adventureland Spring Roll Cart is a popular spot, so you may want to arrive early or be prepared for a bit of a wait. And unlike other Disney snacks, once they are out for the day, they are out!

7.   Corn Dog Nuggets

Corn dog nuggets are a popular menu item at Casey’s Corner, a quick-service restaurant located on Main Street USA in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. The restaurant is themed after a turn-of-the-century baseball park and serves classic American fare such as hot dogs, french fries, and, of course, corn dog nuggets.

The corn dog nuggets at Casey’s Corner are made by dipping bite-sized pieces of hot dog into a cornmeal batter and then deep-frying them until they are golden brown and crispy. They are typically served with a side of cheezy sauce and are a popular snack or meal option for park guests to enjoy on the hub grass.

School bread is a popular snack item that can be found in the Norway pavilion at Epcot in Walt Disney World. This sweet pastry consists of a tender bread roll filled with vanilla custard and topped with icing and toasted coconut flakes.

The school bread is a traditional Norwegian pastry and has become a favorite among Disney World guests. It’s sold at the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, a bakery located in the Norway pavilion.

In addition to school bread, the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe offers a variety of other Norwegian pastries and snacks, such as lefse (a soft, thin Norwegian flatbread), rice cream (a sweet rice pudding topped with strawberry sauce), and various types of Scandinavian open-faced sandwiches.

9. Carrot Cake Cookie

The Disney World carrot cake cookie is a popular snack item that can be found at the Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This sweet treat is essentially a sandwich cookie, with a soft and chewy carrot cake cookie filled with cream cheese frosting.

The cookie is a fan favorite and has become a staple snack at Disney World. It’s a great option for those who love carrot cake but want something a little more portable than a slice of cake. Think of it more like a whoopie pie than a cookie.

The Trolley Car Cafe is located on Hollywood Boulevard and is the Hollywood Studios’ location for Starbucks.

If you’re a fan of carrot cake or cream cheese frosting, the Disney World carrot cake cookie is definitely worth trying. It’s a delicious and satisfying snack that’s perfect for enjoying on the go while exploring the park.

10. The Grey Stuff

Must Have Best Disney Snacks in 2023! 11

“The Grey Stuff” is a dessert that’s based on a line from the song “Be Our Guest” from Disney’s animated movie, Beauty and the Beast. The line goes: “Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious! Don’t believe me? Ask the dishes!”

In Disney World, “The Grey Stuff” is a dessert that can be found at the Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom. It’s served as a part of the prix fixe lunch and dinner menu.

The dessert is essentially a cookies and cream flavored mousse that’s served on top of a chocolate tart shell.  It’s covered in a grey-white whipped topping that’s made with a combination of vanilla pudding, whipped cream, and crushed-up chocolate cookie crumbs.

Kids are extra lucky because their version of the dessert is served in a little white chocolate “Chip” cup!

The dessert has become quite popular among Disney World guests, and it’s often touted as a must-try item for Beauty and the Beast fans. If you’re visiting Be Our Guest, be sure to ask your server about “The Grey Stuff” and give it a try for yourself!

Be Our Guest is a Table Service restaurant in the Magic Kingdom that is very popular. Reservations are practically required as the odds of standby seating being available is very low. If Be Our Guest is a top priority for you and your family, be sure to wake up early 60 days out to book your dining reservation through My Disney Experience. Reservations open at 6:00 am.

BONUS: Be sure to keep an eye on the menu over at Gaston’s Tavern!

We have noticed “The Grey Stuff” cupcakes appear there from time to time. This is the Grey Stuff that you know and love put on top of a cupcake. The only thing weird about that is that a dessert made famous by the Beast’s Castle is being served in the enemy’s tavern… C’est la vie!

This is the perfect option for someone who wants to try the Grey Stuff but doesn’t want to spend $$$ on a full meal at Be Our Guest.
