Disney World Secret Menu Items

Disney World Secret Menu Items

I had no idea until recently that Disney World actually had several dining locations that offered secret menu items. So naturally upon discovering that I went on a quest to uncover all Disney World secret menu items so I could share with you what they are. I find the best way to stay on top of things is first to follow the Disney Food Blog and second to watch the hashtag #disneysecretmenu on Instagram!

We will keep this page updated as we discover more secret menu items.

Use Disney’s mobile ordering system at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe to get these fancy fries. These are loaded fries topped with bacon, pico relish, garlic ranch sauce. cheese sauce and flaming hot cheese dust.

10 Gallon Challenge Sundae

You better bring along some extra family in order to tackle this dessert over at the Whispering Canyon inside of the Wilderness Lodge. You think the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream is a challenge wait until you try to tackle this one.

This treat contains, one scoop of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and mint chocolate chip ice cream, PLUS a whole slice of apple pie, a vanilla cupcake, a chocolate cupcake, chocolate brownie, 2 Mickey sugar cookies, banana, pineapples, cherries, Oreos, strawberry sauce, caramel sauce, whipped cream, toasted marshmallows, and pieces of chocolate-covered bacon to top it off!

Nachos Rio Grande

To get the Nachos Rio Grande, you need to arrive between 3 and 6 PM at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland. When you arrive just let a cast member know that you’d like to order the secret Nachos. Then just stand back and wait for it! The Nachos serve 6 or more people (it’s a whole lotta food) and along with it you get a whole VIP experience!

All Star Movies Resort

Pao de Queijo

This item may sound familiar, it's actually something you can get at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival but that's not the secret menu item we are referring to. Actually the Pao de Queijo we are talking about is at Skipper Canteen in the Magic Kingdom. The Brazilian Cheese Bread is served with chimichurri cream cheese.

Skipper Canteen actually has a few more things on their secret menu. Though I would say the cheese bread is the most popular. You can also snag Pork Satay Skewers, Cerulean Blue Sangria, and the Frosty Pineapple.

O'hana Bread Pudding

You can order this item at Kona Cafe! It's not listed on the menu but if you ask you will receive it! The portion is very generous and so worth it. Getting an Ohana reservation is very difficult so it's nice to have another way to get this yummy bread pudding.

O'hana Feast

Ohana Appetizer comes out with Chicken Wings, Pork Dumplings, Noodles and Veggies.

While we are talking about O'hana it's a good idea to not there are even more ways you can eat their items at the Polynesian Resort. Since the Tambu Lounge shares a kitchen with O'hana if you ask it's actually possible to get the food from this restaurant. This includes bread, noodles, potstickers, and more!

Gideon’s Bakehouse

Disney World Secret Menu Items 2

As if Gideon’s Bakehouse wasn't already good enough they actually have several secret items available. They aren't always available, and things do sell out at Gideon’s Bakehouse so be warned. If you want to stay on top of that month's secret items be sure to give them a follow on Facebook or Instagram. They also have a newsletter you can sign up for too if social media isn't your thing.

Right now the secret is something that is worthy of booking a Disney trip - The Dark Coffee Cake Cookie is a Gideon's Coffee Cake Cookie with a chocolate cookie base. The rarest release is available tonight and every night exclusively at Gideon's in Disney Springs. The Dark Coffee Cake Cookie can only come out after dark and will be yours for the taking every evening strictly at Sunset until Sell Out! Ask your smartphone the time for Sunset, and Pipistrello's Cookie will be waiting.

If you can't make it for the night time don't worry there is an amazing coffee cake cookie in the morning until it sells out as well. It is my favorite cookie I have tried at Gideons so far. For more on Gideon's Bakehouse, you can read our review here.

Dole Whip Taco

You can never go wrong when a Dole Whip is involved. This is a watermelon Dole Whip taco. It's available at Marketplace Snacks at Disney Springs. This walk-up food spot is located right by the Co-Op store. It's watermelon Dole Whip soft serve, served on top of a wedge of watermelon. On top is chocolate chips sprinkled to look like watermelon seeds.

Many don't know that if you go to the dinner at Ohana, which is a family-style meal, you can ask for a children's menu. There isn't one posted so it looks like the kids will have to eat the same as the adults - skewers of shrimp, chicken, and beef. But if you have a picky eater, just ask what they offer in the way of a kid's meal.
