Looking celebrate your love with someone else at Disney World? February is a great time to stop in and enjoy that parks but unfortunately, Disney World doesn’t do all too much special for Valentines Day. Let’s take a look at the various ways people are celebrating Valentines Day at Disney World.
Special Dining for Valentines Day
Of course, any of Disney World’s Signature Dining locations are the perfect special way to have a dinner with your significant other. Here are just a few romantic spots to dine at Disney World!
Victoria & Albert’s, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Victoria & Albert’s restaurant offers an intimate 2.5-hour dining experience. Maid and Butler service, personalized menus and a long-stem rose for each lady are just a few of the touches that create an opulent, pampering experience in this five-diamond restaurant (awarded by AAA). Be prepared to be spoiled by this dining experience.
This classic restaurant serves award-winning gourmet dinners and sweeping views atop Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Dine late and watch the fireworks bursting over Cinderella Castle complete with piped in music.
If steak is what you love then look no further than Yachtsmen whose menu is packed with freshly cut steak options. This New England style restaurant will have you dining in luxury. Once you finish your meal head out for a stroll on the Boardwalk. This is where you can see comedy acts or stop in a bar and grab a drink or dance the night away at Jellyrolls.
Narcoossee’s, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
This creative seafood restaurant is nestled on the waterfront overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon with spectacular views of the Magic Kingdom park and fireworks. Whole Main Lobster is on the menu.
Jiko The Cooking Place, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Relax and enjoy some of Africa’s finest cuisine with one of the largest collections of South African wines in the U.S. Don’t forget to head outside and visit the animal viewing area at the resort after your meal. For Valentine’s Day, Jiko offers a special Valentine’s Day dessert.
Artist Point, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
This restaurant draws inspiration from National Park lodges across the Pacific Northwest. The cuisine here focuses on seafood, sirloins and game meat. After your meal, sit and rock in front of the roaring fire of the huge lobby fireplace. A special Sweetheart Dinner Menu will be available for Valentines Day and features five courses for $75. Add a wine pairing for an extra $25.
Spread the Love with Disney Florals and Gifts
If you are staying on property you can always surprise your loved one with a something from Disney Florals and Gifts. We did this for our honeymoon and were just blown away. They have a full selection of Valentine’s Day options that you can browse through.
You could always forget going out altogether and order room service. Unfortunately, not every hotel has private dining room service so be sure to stay at one of the following that does:
- Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Beach Club Resort
- BoardWalk Inn
- Contemporary Resort
- Coronado Springs Resort (Disney Dining Plans not accepted for Private Dining.)
- Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Polynesian Village Resort
- Wilderness Lodge
- Yacht Club Resort
