Best Disney Hotel Restaurants

Best Disney Hotel Restaurants

The more than thirty Disney World resorts each have so many amazing things to offer. Often times people focus on the Disney food that can be found inside the Disney World theme parks but the hotels are where I think the best Disney World food is served. It’s hard to ignore the AAA 5-Diamond award-winning restaurant at the Grand Floridian. Let’s take a look at what makes our list of the best Disney hotel restaurants at Walt Disney World.

Victoria and Alberts

This is considered the most exclusive Disney World restaurant. Why? Victoria & Albert’s is an AAA 5-Diamond award-winning restaurant in the Grand Floridian Resort at Walt Disney World. Here you will find a unique fine-dining menu of contemporary American cuisine. Of course, with such fine dining comes a high price tag. Here your dinner has a fixed price per person, with a 7-course meal costing $185 and a 10-course meal at $235. If you want to have an extra special experience there is also the option of dining at Queen Victoria’s Room for $235,  or going all out and eating at the Chef’s Table for $250.

Please be aware that this restaurant has a dress code. Men must wear dinner jackets with dress pants or slacks and shoes. Ties are optional. Women may wear a cocktail dress, nice dress, dressy pantsuit or a skirt with a blouse.

Citricos

Warm Chocolate-Banana Torte

Warm Chocolate-Banana Torte

Located in the Grand Floridian Resort, this restaurant boasts a warm, old-world design. The menu changes seasonally to reflect the ingredients that are the freshest. The cuisine is American with a definite Mediterranean twist.

Our pro tip, don’t make the same mistake we did the first time we dined here! We recommend ordering something other than the filet off the menu. They really shine when it comes to their other dishes. Read our full review of our latest experience at Citricos.

California Grill

Best Disney Hotel Restaurants 10

The views from the top of the Contemporary are just one of the many reasons this place is probably our favorite to dine at in Disney World. We are biased as we have spent many magical meals here like on our wedding day! It’s a mix of contemporary Californian dishes along with some classics. Our favorite dish here is the Oak-fired Filet Of Beef. The Pork Tenderloin is their other famous dish that we recently got to try, though we still are partial to steak! For more on dining here read our California Grill Dining Review.

Ohana

Ohana Wood fired chicken

Wood fired chicken served tableside.

Come ready and hungry when you are going to eat at Ohana. This restaurant is served family style and it’s all you care to eat. We love every course here they even make the salad yummy. It’s seriously a dangerous amount of amazing food and will require a large after dinner walk off. I think the best tip I can give you is to make sure you save room for dessert. I think it’s the best part of the whole meal and well worth it. For more on eating at Ohana read our Ohana Dining Review.

Yachtsmen Steakhouse

Black Angus Filet Mignon

If you are looking for an outstanding steak dinner look no further than Yachtsmen Steakhouse. This spot topped our list of Where to Find the Best Steak at Disney World. They have a large selection so you aren’t limited to just one or two cuts of steak.

We also love that this spot tends to be quieter as it off the beaten path and tucked into the back of the Yacht Club Resort at Disney World. For more on the experience and what to expect read our Yachtsman Steakhouse Dining Review.

Flying Fish

Best Disney Hotel Restaurants 11

A look inside Flying Fish.

Located on the boardwalk at the Boardwalk Hotel. It was fully refurbished in 2016 and boasts an open view of the kitchen. There is even some counter seating available to see your meal prepared right before your eyes. You may be worried about dining here if you are not a fan of fish but they have one the best strip steaks you will ever eat!

In addition to their standard menu, they always offer seasonal specials with the freshest seafood that is available. We are also so excited to see they brought back the best strip steak you will ever have! Check out our full review of dining at the Flying Fish.

Jiko

Inside Jiko Restaurant

If you are looking for a wild experience head over to Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Jiko is one of Disney’s best signature dining locations. First, let’s start with the outstanding service here. The wait staff is top-notch and goes over the top to make sure you have an extra magical experience. The menu here is full of exotic offerings like buffalo and wild boar. In addition, there is a robust wine offering all from South Africa. For our full review check out the Jiko Dining Review.

Sanaa

Best Disney Hotel Restaurants 12

Bread Service at Sanaa is considered a must do!

This restaurant is neighbors to Jiko and located at Kadani Village the Disney Vacation Club portion of Animal Kingdom Lodge. Over the years this dining spot at Disney World has become a fan favorite. It serves up savory food options and has stunning savannah views. Plus there is a little something called bread service (shown above) that keeps people drooling. For our full review read Sanaa Dining Review.

Sebastian’s Bistro

Best Disney Hotel Restaurants 13

Sebastian’s Bistro at the Caribbean Beach Resort in Walt Disney World is a tranquil dining spot. This brand new restaurant was added to the resort as part of Caribbean Beach Resort extensive overhaul. And I just need to stop and say my oh my do the new changes at the Caribbean Beach look amazing. Let’s take a look at our full Sebastian’s Bistro dinner review.

Trails End

Fried Chicken Trails End

This isn’t the most glamorous or fancy food on the list but I still think it deserves a spot. Comfort food is the name of the game at Trails End and you won’t be left disappointed. You can find this food spot at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds.

If you are coming from the Magic Kingdom I highly recommend taking a boat it drops you off right by here. Otherwise, when you park at the front you have to take this complicated bus system with a million stops to get to the back of the resort where Trails End is.
